25 Jun (Sat): @ Springfield Wolfpack 2, Mid-Missouri Outlaws 0 (Forfeit) (Game was declared a forfeit win for Springfield at the 11:35 mark of the third quarter with Mid-Missouri leading 35-15. The entire Mid-Missouri team left the game after a melee that resulted in the ejections of three Springfield players, one Mid-Missouri player, and one Mid-Missouri coach. The reason given for Mid-Missouri departing was they didn't want to risk other ejections occurring and potentially have players suspended for the upcoming playoff game.)

APFL: Ended in controversy: The Wichita Aviators ended the season with the best record and home field advantage in the playoffs with a win over the Kansas Koyotes in the last regular season game. The game became heated and the Kansas players started a fight which ended with ejections in the playoffs on both sides. A week before the title game was to be played in Wichita, Ralph Adams (who runs the league and owned both teams, but displays favoritism towards Kansas) decided to move the title game to Kansas even though Wichita had won the rights to host. Wichita boycotted the game when discussions broke down and left the league in dispute, declaring themselves champions on the field since they had already won the season series against Kansas. Adams awarded the league title to Kansas once the game was cancelled.
