Did I do something wrong again? on the contrary you were exactly right. the guy was doing just fine before they signed up Dutton. Someone should sign the guy.

Where is Wooten I am sure some team would like him. Word is that that he has contacted Wichita and will possibly be seen in Wichita in the future...

www.ragefootball.com/newsPage.php?Game_12-169/dutton was 19/37 for 149 yards. after thinking about it i expected this considering he prolly had 1 maybe 2 practices with the team to go over things. on wooten hopefully he stays around as dutton will prolly go back to AFL next season (if they play) and the rage can use him next season. on the 20-16 score..2 safeties for the xtreme and 3 FGs for the rage(seems they got a new kicker over the past week..man you dont hear anything on these moves in the post dispatch). at least the rage scored more than they did last trip to bloominton(7 points on a TD in the last min.)

It is really LAME the rage basically benched Wotten, the guy was playing well, jmo but if i was him and they wanted me back after benching me the year before would be **** You. there is plenty of teams he could play for and make them better with a good shot at winning more games, i wouldnt mind seeing him end up in wichita,

Wooten had been struggling in recent weeks but not to the point they needed to bench him. Definitely could have used him this week with Dutton being rusty.
And i'm right there with you rcragefan. Its a shame the Rage don't get the attention they deserve from the Post and the other local media. I mean the Rage are a hell of a lot better to watch than the Rams.

Yea, I thought we were turning the corner with attendance numbers the last couple of seasons, but the dropoff this season almost harkens back to the days of the Renegades. I think the Post just stopped caring about covering the minor league teams in the St. Louis area.

yep heading that way.
i havent read any of the paper this week yet but i would hope the rage are getting some ads in on dutton as it is prolly his only home game here the way the standings are looking. at least if i were the rage i would be marketing him. if i didnt go to the games already and didnt really follow the rage but saw they had one of the best QBs in AFL history i would prolly find time to head over to the family areana and see him.

Have the Rage advertised in the paper before? I don't read newspapers anymore, get my content off the web, so I'm not sure how effective it'd be. Some major newspapers across the country have gone under and more will over the coming years. The newspapers that have made successful online content are the future, so I wonder if an add placed on the main page might be more effective than in the actual newspaper itself. Just theorizing here, I have no idea what readership levels that paper has.

In the St. Louis Post i have not seen any ads but there is a separate paper that is a lot smaller that covers the HS, minor league teams, etc. in the area. So for me i live in the same area of the rage so i get the paper that covers them a little. The only problem is they only deliver on wed. and sun. so many times the info is a week old. In the last few months the Post has cut down a lot of what it covers.
