Darn right. He's going to play to win, like he's good at.
Is the coach in Fairbanks not liked? He's doing a great job, so that shouldn't matter...but at the NFL level it's killed coaches, so that could happen there as well I guess.

Fairbanks Loves Coach Ponder, as does the ownership, he will be back if he wants to, I hope he comes back and we have a chance to win a championship here in Fairbanks....

I can only really judge him off of conversations I had with him when he was in Wichita & I was either in Kearney or Omaha. He was really cool & didn't come off like a lot of other coaches did at that time from AF2. If I remember correctly he helped me a little with some players. Faribanks should love him - he has done a very good job and he is doing it by the rules. I am sure the Grizz are a lot more respected by their opponents this year than last. I have not seem them play but it would appear to me that he has made the transition to the indoor game - which a lot of you guys have seen other Arena guys fail to do. I don't see them beating SF but I see them playing them close. Have they seen 2 yard endzones yet??

I'll take Sioux Falls' endzones over what the Evansville Bluecats had any day. Those endzones were like ones you'd find on one of those electric football games, small as H.

Fairbanks responds rather quickly with a Rummel to Smith TD pass from 7 yards out. PAT botched.

Not a fan of onside kicks. Storm show some charachter and bounce back & Fairbanks gets to experience another brutal atmosphere. I still think Fairbanks makes it to the second round.

Fairbanks plays to win and has guts, you have to give them that. They were just overmatched against the Storm though.
I agree Coach, they'll beat the Ice in Fairbanks in the first round. The game after that won't be pretty though...shiver (no not Carolyn).
