The game will be on the 18th.
This game could go either way, in my opinion.

San Angelo could come up with an upset here, i doubt it but I am taking them because i need to catch up in the pick em You're only one behind, aren't you? If you're only one behind, play smart and pick the teams you think will win, unless you believe this is your only shot and that he's picking the same as you in everything else.

From the trend of his picks i do believe we will be picking pretty much every game the same, so i think this is a decent shot for me

You could be right. Quincy Carter is gone in Abilene, the guy that replaced him got injured and won't be able to get back in time for the playoffs, so the Wide Receiver that started this past weekend will be their QB for the playoffs. Very similar to the RiverCity situation unfortunately for Abilene.

Game given to San Angelo via conference call after Quincy Carter is busted selling pot on the Abilene sidelines during the game.

GAME NOTES:
The San Angelo Stampede Express come into the game with a 5-9 regular season record and are only one of two teams to make it into the postseason with a losing record (Colorado Ice being the other). San Angelo finished off the regular season on a one game losing streak and were 2-5 in their last seven games. San Angelo is 2-5 on the road with their two wins coming against the Corpus Christi Hammerheads.
The Abilene Ruff Riders come into the game with a 8-6 regular season record. Abilene finished off the regular season on a two game winning streak and are 3-3 in their last six games. Abilene is 5-2 at home with their only two losses coming against the Omaha Beef and Corpus Christi Hammerheads.
Both teams won at home in their two matchups this season. Abilene won 59-20 on 25 April and San Angelo won 56-32 on 27 June.
-----------------------------------------------------------
HISTORICAL NOTE:
The Corpus Christi Hammerheads were given one forfeit loss for failing to stop an ejected player from coming back to the bench, dropping their record to 5-9 and out of the playoffs. On the field they were 6-8 and would have clinched the third playoff seed in the Lone Star Division. The round one playoff game in the Lone Star Division would've been Corpus Christi at Abilene instead and San Angelo would've been out of the playoffs.
