PAC-10 rules. USC got jipped in the polls last year. The PAC-10 always gets jipped since most voters are out East. We're used to it, but it's still bs, I mean bcs. SEC, Big-12, Big-10 are overrated.

Little 11 is horrible.
SEC has solid D and average O. I hate Timmy Tebow with a passion.
Pac 10 is below average beyond U$C.
Big 12 is the best of the bunch without a doubt!

LOL. What were the inter-conference records and bowl records between the big schools? That would tell us who was best last year.

I would take good defense any day over the arena ball the big 12 was playing last year.
You know you don't have to score that many points if you just cover down field and tackle the guy with the ball.

Mizzou is probably going to finish below Nebraska and KU as much as I hate to admit it. Gabbert is garbage. Is it too late to send him back to Nebraka? That all said I do think Mizzou can beat Nebraska in Columbia, only because its in Columbia. Nebraska will do the world a favor and slay the Fat Man in Kansas. Unfortunately Mizzou will find a way to choke everything else away probably. BIG 12 and SEC are the elite in College football. The PAC 10 is decent, and as CF4L said, the Little 11 is garbage. That all said SEMO is going to win the Division 1AA National Title this year! Woooo! GO REDHAWKS!!!

Missouri lost their QB, WR, stud DL, stud DB plus others.
They are 6-6 if they have a GOOD year!
As far as Gabbert goes, he can stay in Columbia. We'll keep Cody Green.

I know Mizzou lost a lot but they will be a little better than 6-6. This is only because of the soft nonconference schedule and the fact we are in the north not the south. Probably another trip to the Independance Bowl or some other glove compartment bowl game. Grant it even that's being optimistic for this season.

CF4L the games I disagree with you on are Illinois, Nevada, and Nebraska. I'm comfortable with Mizzou at home against the Huskers if it were in Lincoln then the Huskers would roll. Illinois, this isn't basketball the Tigers will beat the Illini. Nevada is one I would classify as a tossup. They aren't going to be happy after the game last season in Columbia.
That said I could see Mizzou going the 5-7 you predict, but this is a team that could go 8-4 if they play within themselves. Don't get me wrong they aren't going to set the nation on fire but I believe this team can go above .500
And if they suck i've got SEMO football to hopefully divert my attention.

Juice Williams is going to light the Missouri D on fire.
That game has major blowout potential.

Juice Williams is going to light the Missouri D on fire. That game has major blowout potential. He's too busy taking care of his kid. That and he's pretty much all Illinois has. You can tell I don't think too highly of Illinois.

Uh, the other conf's blow. PAC-10 teams beat each other up each season and get ripped off in the polls every year. 2008 was no different as you can see by the 2008 Bowl Records:
Conference-by-conference bowl records - 2008 Conference Schools Record Percentage Pac-10 (Ariz,Cal,Ore,OSU,USC) 5-0 1.000 SEC (Ala,Fla,Ga,Ky,LSU,Miss,SCar,Vandy) 6-2 .750 Big East (Cin,Pitt,Rut,UConn,USF,WV) 4-2 .667 C-USA (EC,Hou,Mem,Rice,SMiss,Tulsa) 4-2 .667 MWC (AF,BYU,CSU,TCU,Utah) 3-2 .600 Big 12 (KU,Mizzou,Neb,OU,OSU,Tex,TT) 4-3 .571 Independents (Navy,Notre Dame) 1-1 .500 Sun Belt (Fla. Atlantic,Troy) 1-1 .500 ACC (BC,Clem,FSU,GT,Mary,Miami, NC,NCS,VT,WF) 4-6 .400 WAC (BSU,FresSt,Haw,LaTech,Nev) 1-4 .200 Big Ten (Iowa,MichSt,Minn,NWestrn,OSU,PSU,Wis) 1-6 .143 MAC (BallSt,Buff,CMich,NIU,WMich) 0-5 .000
