Discuss the San Angelo Stampede Express (6-9) at El Paso Generals (12-2) Lonestar Division Championship Playoff Game here.
-----------------------------------------------------------
GAME NOTES:
The San Angelo Stampede Express come into the game with a 6-9 overall record. San Angelo went 5-9 in the regular season and is 1-0 in the playoffs. San Angelo is on a one game winning streak and has upped their road record to 3-5 after beating Abilene 37-34 in the first round of the playoffs. San Angelo's other two road wins came against the Corpus Christi Hammerheads.
The El Paso Generals come into the game with a 12-2 regular season record. El Paso finished off the regular season on a seven game winning streak and are 7-0 at home.
El Paso won the season series 4-0. El Paso defeated San Angelo 53-33 in San Angelo on 2 May, 78-63 at home on 30 May, 56-50 at home on 6 June, and 72-64 in San Angelo on 11 July.
-----------------------------------------------------------
HISTORICAL NOTE:
The Corpus Christi Hammerheads were given one forfeit loss for failing to stop an ejected player from coming back to the bench, dropping their record to 5-9 and out of the playoffs. On the field they were 6-8 and would have clinched the third playoff seed in the Lone Star Division. The round one playoff game in the Lone Star Division would've been Corpus Christi at Abilene instead and San Angelo would've been out of the playoffs. San Angelo has made the most of this and has now advanced to the Divisional Championship playoff round.

El Paso takes on San Angelo for the fifth time this year and has beaten them each time. There's never been a team in pro football to lose four out of four times to a team in one season, and then come back and beat them in the fifth game. The Sioux Falls Storm lost three times in the regular season to the Sioux City Bandits and then beat them in the fourth matchup that season which was the UIFA Title Game in 2005. If you're going to beat a team only once in any of the matchups, the playoffs is the time to do it. Cumbie has the skills to make it happen for the Express, but I see them falling short once again. El Paso wins, 81-55.

Its a boring game.. Teams from texas just arent that good. I dont care but im going w/ Underdog here aka the only team with a losing record in the playoffs. If FBX doesnt beat billings then San Angelo will so...

Another Michael Jackson dance routine at halftime. He gets more play now than he ever has.

Indeed.
What was the issue with B2 technical difficulties, they joined game in progress an hour after start time.
