I have to take Purple Bear to this tomorrow (24 Oct)...ugh...the price of being a Dad I guess. The first movie was pretty good, but the second one was like watching someone run their nails down a blackboard for close to 2 hours. I hope this one won't be too bad, but I'm not counting on it. After that we go roller skating for 3 hours, then Saturday we visit a local pumpkin patch that is pretty much a madhouse, and then on Sunday we stop by Gamestop to pick up Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii for her. I get my revenge at noon on Sunday when the NFL games come on.

High School Musical 3...better than 2, but the original was the best of the three. I'm glad that the trilogy is over now though.

Yeah, 2 was verrrry bad. I heard they're going to make more (probably back to TV-based), but with a different cast now. I can see them going all the way to High School Musical 25. The teenage girls in the theater were going crazy over that Troy Bolton actor...jeez. Is it just me or did all the cast look like they were all 5 feet tall...pretty strange as they were basketball players in the movie.

I think they are all short as Ashley Tisdale who plays Sharpay is like 5 foot 2 and the guys dont tower over her

Ugh, I watched 10 seconds of the first and second one, and on both occasions I wanted to tear my eyeballs out instantly. When I have kids i'm keeping them far away from the High School Musical movies.

When I have kids i'm keeping them far away from the High School Musical movies. By the time you have kids and they want to watch something like that it'll be something else taking the teen world by storm, every generation has their own thing. Let me know how successful you are trying to keep them away from the happening thing of the time. I just grin and bear it. When you get older you realize your kids are what's important and you sit through stuff like that for them. Occasionally some of it isn't that bad. I didn't think the first HSM was that bad honestly. Plus, if you don't do things for your kids, they won't do things for you back, and when you get older you will regret it. I know my step Dad does.
