The Teams below are the teams I think have a Realistic Shot at Winning the Super Bowl. If a team isn't on this list, then I've counted them out as far as winning the Super Bowl this year. I have them listed in the order I'd give them odds to win it all. I'll revisit this list in December.
1. New York Giants 2. Tennessee Titans 3. Pittsburgh Steelers 4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 5. Carolina Panthers 6. Washington Redskins 7. Dallas Cowboys 8. Baltimore Ravens 9. Jacksonville Jaguars 10. Chicago Bears 11. Green Bay Packers 12. Buffalo Bills 13. New England Patriots

No Bronocos or Colts come on, oh wait its just a pipe dream of mine Broncos will not win the Super Bowl this year without a good defense and they are not even close...so they are out IMHO. Colts have a lot of problems and I don't see them turning it around to win the Super Bowl this year. The year they won it all they overcame some stuff, but not stuff this bad...so I give them no shot. There are other teams on my list of 13 that look worse than these teams, but I think they have the potential to get it done, but probably won't...still, they do have the potential...the Broncos and Colts...I don't think so this year.

My take on Week 9:- Miami taking down Denver...nice. Denver def's bites. - Giant's blowing out Dallas...double nice, no triple nice. - Mike Singletary on a bye week. I want more Singletary. - Pittsburgh handling the 'Skins...'Skins are good, but not elite. - Oakland. ;D ;D ;D - Jets beating Buffalo...wtf...surprised at that one. - Arizona beating Saint Louis handily...pretty much wraps up the division for the Cardinals...in Week 9. - Kyle Orton injury for Chicago...can Grossman come in and not turn the ball over...if so Chicago's still my pick to take the division, but if he goes out and starts throwing multiple interceptions per game then the Bear's are done. - I felt sorry for KC not being able to hold on, loved the Wildcat Offensive play for TD. In the playoffs (both have a great run game and a great defense) :A F C Tennessee 8-0 N F C NY Giants 7-1 In the hunt:A F C Pittsburgh 6-2 Buffalo 5-3 Denver 4-4 New England 5-3 Baltimore 5-3 N F C Tampa Bay 6-3 Arizona 5-3 Chicago 5-3 Washington 6-3 Carolina 6-2 Need to step it up to get in:A F C Indianapolis 4-4 NY Jets 5-3 San Diego 3-5 N F C Philadelphia 5-3 Dallas 5-4 Green Bay 4-4 Atlanta 5-3 May be done:A F C Jacksonville 3-5 Cleveland 3-5 Miami 4-4 N F C Minnesota 4-4 New Orleans 4-4 Seattle 2-6 San Francisco 2-6 Out (guaranteed) :Oakland 2-6 Kansas City 1-7 Cincinnati 1-8 Houston 3-5 Detroit 0-8 Saint Louis 2-6

My take on Week 10: - Cleveland blowing their lead against Denver...wow, Cleveland is having a serious problem closing out games. - Atlanta beat New Orleans pretty soundly, showing they are a serious challenger for a playoff spot...but I think they'll fall a tad short. - If Pittsburgh hadn't been hurting, there's no way Indy could've beat them. Indy's got problems, but they got a much needed win here. - San Diego played terrible and still got lucky and beat KC. Starting off bad most of your games and then coming from behind to win is a great indicator of bad coaching (not being prepared for your opponent) and players taking it upon themselves to bring the team through. - Giant's looking good, great chance to get two in a row - San Fran blew the finish of the game and Arizona pulled out another win. To the Cardinals credit, they held them from getting into the end zone at the end. - Miami at 5-4...no one, absolutely no one, saw that coming.
In the playoffs (Cardinals join Titans and Giants in the playoffs): A F C Tennessee 9-0 N F C NY Giants 8-1 Arizona 6-3
In the hunt: A F C Pittsburgh 6-3 New England 6-3 Baltimore 6-3 Denver 5-4 NY Jets 6-3 N F C Tampa Bay 6-3 Chicago 5-4 Carolina 7-2 Washington 6-3
Need to step it up to get in: A F C Indianapolis 5-4 Buffalo 5-4 San Diego 4-5 Miami 5-4 N F C Philadelphia 5-4 Dallas 5-4 Atlanta 6-3 Green Bay 4-5 Minnesota 5-4
May be done: A F C Jacksonville 4-5 N F C New Orleans 4-5
Out (guaranteed): Cleveland 3-6 Seattle 2-7 San Francisco 2-7 Oakland 2-7 Kansas City 1-8 Cincinnati 1-8 Houston 3-6 Detroit 0-9 Saint Louis 2-7

Anyone think Tennessee will go unbeaten during the regular season?
It would be something to see it in back to back years . . .

At the time, Buffalo's defense and run game were doing good...they've slipped obviously, but I still had them at the bottom of my list. Fred Jackson had a great game on Monday night, apart from the fumble.

My take on Week 11:
- I didn't think Brett Favre and the Jets had it in them to beat NE (even with Brady gone). They have indeed stepped it up. - I didn't think Denver could go into Atlanta and come away with a win either, but Atlanta kind of gave it away...still, Denver pulled it out. - A tie (Ciny/Philly). I had hoped we were done with those. I'd still like to see the College-style (and Indoor-style) overtime rules adopted into the NFL. - I didn't see Green Bay kicking Chicago's rear end either, winning didn't surprise me, the score did. - Singletary got his first win, but it was against the Rams so it's not too big a deal. - Arizona pretty much wrapped up their division with a win over Seattle. - Jacksonville blew the second half and a chance to knock off the last unbeaten team...congrats to Tennessee for not giving up. - Pit/SD game was a defensive battle. Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Tennessee, and the Giants have the league's greatest defenses, but San Diego's defense stepped up against Pittsburgh with a new defensive coordinator, but it wasn't enough. Can the Chargers defense continue to play better...we'll see. - Dallas pulled out a come from behind win against the 'Skins, potentially saving their season. - Buffalo is looking bad against ordinary teams...I think they're finished.
In the playoffs: A F C Tennessee 10-0 N F C NY Giants 9-1 Arizona 7-3
In the hunt: A F C Pittsburgh 7-3 NY Jets 7-3 Denver 6-4 New England 6-4 Baltimore 6-4 N F C Tampa Bay 7-3 Carolina 8-2 Chicago 5-5 Washington 6-4
Need to step it up to get in: A F C Indianapolis 6-4 San Diego 4-6 Buffalo 5-5 Miami 6-4 N F C Dallas 6-4 Atlanta 6-4 Green Bay 5-5 Philadelphia 5-4-1 Minnesota 5-5
May be done: A F C Jacksonville 4-6 N F C New Orleans 5-5
Out (guaranteed): Cleveland 4-6 Seattle 2-8 San Francisco 3-7 Oakland 2-8 Kansas City 1-9 Cincinnati 1-8-1 Houston 3-7 Detroit 0-10 Saint Louis 2-8

My take on Week 12:
- Jets surprised me again, taking down the previously unbeaten Titans. Good on them. They're looking really complete right now, but I'm still a doubter with them. They have a great shot to make the playoffs, but Super Bowl...I don't see it. - Oakland beating Denver...didn't see that coming. Love it though. I bet Shanahan's pissed after that and is probably putting the team through extra workouts because of it. - McNabb getting benched...bad move. If you're going to bench him, make sure the backup is ready (he wasn't). Reid messed up. - Brady Quinn...what's he, 1-2 and out the rest of the year? QB's not the problem for Cleveland. They need help on D, the line, etc. If they game planned for Anderson as well as they did Quinn, then Anderson would've had better games as well. Anderson didn't just luck into being a pro-bowl QB, he's still good. Quinn will be back next year to see if he can do anything. - Jacksonville getting destroyed by Minnesota...wow. Jacksonville's done this year, maybe next year they can come back and do something, but not this year. - Atlanta beating Carolina at home was no surprise to me. Carolina's good, but Tampa's the best in the division. 2 teams out of this division will make the playoffs. - Arizona kept up with the Giants for a time, but the Giants were just too much for them. Giants are still the best team in football, and unless they get injured their a shoo-in to repeat I think. - Chargers blew a game in the final seconds again. Indy's look a lot better than they were three weeks ago and with their remaining schedule they should finish strong, probably not enough to catch Tennessee, but they should lock up the 5 seed with no problem. Amazingly the Chargers can still make the playoffs by winning their division since Denver is just as bad. The division winner could very well be 8-8.
In the playoffs: Added Indy this week, they'd really have to mess up big time with their remaining schedule to not get it. A F C Tennessee 10-1 Indianapolis 7-4 N F C NY Giants 10-1 Arizona 7-4
In the hunt: A F C Pittsburgh 8-3 NY Jets 8-3 Denver 6-5 New England 7-4 N F C Tampa Bay 8-3 Carolina 8-3 Chicago 6-5 Dallas 7-4
Need to step it up to get in: A F C Baltimore 7-4 San Diego 4-7 N F C Washington 7-4 Atlanta 7-4 Minnesota 6-5 Green Bay 5-6
May be done: A F C Buffalo 6-5 Miami 6-5 N F C New Orleans 6-5
Out (guaranteed): Jacksonville 4-7 Philadelphia 5-5-1 Cleveland 4-7 Seattle 2-9 San Francisco 3-8 Oakland 3-8 Kansas City 1-10 Cincinnati 1-9-1 Houston 4-7 Detroit 0-11 Saint Louis 2-9

My thoughts on Thursday's games:
- Detroit...ugh...with 4 more games left against teams looking to try and make the playoffs they have a very real shot to go 0-16, which would be a shame. They didn't even show up against Tennessee. They should pull Culpepper (he's not doing anything anyway) and get the young QB's playing time to see if they can do anything for next season. I do like the throwback uniforms the Lions bring out every Thanksgiving though, they should go to those full time.
- Tennessee...only need one more win to clinch their division, but they can't let up since they almost have homefield locked up as well. They got back to the running game in a big way, but not all teams have such a bad run defense that Detroit has, so they'll have to keep working hard.
- Seattle...I feel sorry for Holmgren since this is his last season, but I have a feeling he'll be back with another teams a few years down the road. No one wants to go out in such a terrible fashion.
- Dallas...beat a terrible team handily, but won't have an easy time finishing out the year with 4 tough games coming up. If they can acquit themselves good in these 4 tough games they should make the playoffs. They can't beat the Giants though, not happening.
- Philadelphia...McNabb showed he's not finished yet, but I still don't think they can make the playoffs. They pretty much have to win out and I don't see that happening.
- Arizona...They had an off day, big time, but still almost came back in the fourth quarter until Bolden turned it over again. Arizona's a great team to have fantasy players on, but they're not going to scare too many teams in the playoffs.
