Choices for 2008 NFL MVP:
To me, the player has to be on a playoff team and without him that team would be significantly worse:
Tennessee: Can't think of one person that stands out over everyone else, to me they won as a team. Pittsburgh: Again, team defense won it for them. Miami: Chad Pennington has been mentioned, but for me it'd be Joey Porter. San Diego: No on this team deserves the MVP in my opinion, but if anyone it'd probably be Rivers. Indianapolis: Peyton Manning. Baltimore: Ed Reed. New York Giants: Brandon Jacobs. Carolina: They improved greatly with the return of Jake Delhomme. Minnesota: Adrian Peterson. Arizona: No one deserves it from this team, but if anyone it'd be Warner. Atlanta: Some say Matt Ryan, I say Michael Turner. Philadelphia: Michael Westbrook (without him they're very average).
Narrow that list down and I think you have Manning, Reed, Jacobs, Peterson, and Turner as finalists.
I'd take Ed Reed. I know no one else would, but that'd be my choice. Everyone always takes offensive players, but I think Reed had an outstanding year and outshined any of the offensive stars this year.

Vote for Matt Ryan, even with Michael Turner may be a better player, without ryan's ability to actually pass, 8 in the box would stuff turner, it does go both ways but, I think you give the nod to the qb

Looks like we have an update for the Indoor Football Forum 2008 NFL MVP voting we have:
1 vote for Ed Reed 1 vote for Peyton Manning 1 vote for Kurt Warner 1 vote for Matt Ryan
Matt did just win rookie of the year so I don't see him winning MVP.
I vote for Peyton.... Not only did he overcame two offseason operations on his left knee, he had a horrible offensive line, not much of a backfield, a hot-and-cold defense and a bad star, then he lead the Colts to nine straight wins, a seventh consecutive playoff appearance and his NFL-record ninth straight 4,000-yard season.
2 vote for Peyton Manning 1 vote for Ed Reed 1 vote for Kurt Warner 1 vote for Matt Ryan
