My daughter came in first today on Mario Kart and then on the rematch I came in first, so we're tied today.
I have to say, Mario Kart is way too busy for me, too much happening at once. Maybe once I play it for awhile I'll get used to it, but I think this game is more for kids so I'm not sure why so many on here like it.

Boosted my Wii Sports Baseball up to 1230 and my Wii Sports Tennis up to 1333.
Played the Wii Fit for an hour and a half. Getting better at the skiing and the ski jump too. The snowboard is very hard though, wow. I'd like to try to surf in real life at one point, but if I can't even do a Wii Fit snowboard I might as well forget that.

1385 on Wii Sports Tennis now.
Did 3.5 hours on Wii Fit the past 3 days...still like the ski jump and ski slalom the best, snowboarding is still really hard on easy level.

Wii Fit is awesome, it's the best thing to do on the Wii I think. I love the Downhill Ski Jump and Ski and Snowboard Slalom. There's a lot of great stuff on it.
As far as getting fit with it, if you use it with eating right and regular exercise, it's a great addition with that. The free step aerobics is good when you're watching TV. I've done the past 5 days for 30 minutes each time while watching football or something and I do it at a running rate to maximize the burn. My calves are real sore from it, so the step aerobics really work. I also run 5-6 times a week at the gym and do other stuff though, so it all helps. If you were to just do Wii Fit and not eat right or exercise elsewhere, I think your results would be minimal. To be fair though, I've only just begun using it and have mostly done the fun stuff like the balance and aerobics games. There is also strength training and yoga (don't know much about the benefits of yoga, so someone else can talk about that, but I will eventually get to it). I do 60-90 minutes a day on Wii Fit (mainly to have more credits than my daughter, but now I'm hooked so I'll keep going). If a person would do 60-90 minutes a day on it then I think you would see a difference (easier than it sounds because you can do the free step aerobics while watching tv, and then do 30-60 minutes of other stuff after that...easy). You'd have to do all areas of the Wii Fit though. Wii Fit does tell you each time you use it to eat right and workout in other areas as well and gives you workout tips. The best tips I can give anyone is to exercise regularly or at least 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes or more of an aerobic activity to get the heart going and then throw some weights or muscular training on top of that. Eat healthy food, but don't worry about going totally into it, as long as you don't eat too much junk you're ok doing it now and then. Best advice about eating right or losing weight that everyone knows, but few do, is to eat hand sized portions every two hours each day. Your metabolism will speed up and you'll burn more fat and you're stomach will adjust to those portions and actually shrink. You will notice a difference after 2-3 weeks of eating hand sized portions, your weight will start to drop and your ravenous appetite will start to go away. All you can eat buffets should be avoided like the plague, I can tell you that. Also, when I eat out sometimes the food is just too much, so I portion out the food on the plate, then get the rest to go and eat later in a few hours. Works great, it really does. But working out and eating right, while using Wii Fit, will give you great results and you can track your BMI on Wii Fit as well, it has all sorts of neat things. I highly recommend Wii Fit, plus I'd like to see anyone try to beat my Ski Jump scores.

I'm over 1400 on Wii Sports Tennis now, 1418 I believe. Only my Wii Sports Golf is higher than that at over 1600.

Does Wii Fit really work? Honestly - I didn't even do all the extra stuff that BC did - eat right etc. Sad, but true. But I did do Wii fit every morning for at least 30 minutes - all the areas switching off. And still noticed a big difference. Especially when I stopped for a while. I was actually almost more sore at first from the yoga than anything!

Well, I'm not working out this weekend. I overdid it this past week and I'm exhausted. I was doing the free step aerobics while watching tv for 30 minutes at a time all week and now my calves are killing me. Add to that my normal running at the gym for 30 minutes a day and it was enough that I decided to take it easy this weekend and then hit it hard again starting Monday. This weekend I'll just do the Yoga and Strength Training on the Wii Fit, no aerobics. Since 2 months ago I've lost 20 pounds with my workout regimen and eating hand sized portions every two hours, then add onto that the Wii Fit. I got 20 more pounds to go to reach my goal of 180 lbs and then it's just maintaining after that. I'd like to be able to do that in 2 more months, but I'm not going to kill myself either, slow and steady is the mantra. Once a week I splurge and have a nice meal of my choosing, but the rest of the time its tuna, chicken, other fish, bananas, watermelons, or other fruit, etc.
