At the end of the game, the Storm announcer informed the crowd that there was a signup in the lobby for Championship games tickets "no matter where the game is played"
No idea how many tickets the Storm are getting from Billings, but it can be that many. Hard to believe that there were enough available tickets to sell.

3 loses for the Storm this year. 2 of them have been avenged in the playoffs...
Time to take the Cup back from the paper champs.

Can you imagine a greater story line than this? Between the two, 6 Championships in 5 years. Now, is the headline "Storm returns to Billings to finish the job.", or "Outlaws return favor by dismantling Storm."? Huge. I have to believe there has never been a more classic matchup at this level.

I believe on paper, you got ****slapped 3 times last year. Oh, my bad. That was reality. Paper champs is a realistic statement. Yeah, you beat the Storm 3 times, but last I checked you it doesn't matter how many times you beat a team in the regular season. Ask the 2005 Sioux City Bandits how many times they beat the Storm in the regular season and then check who walked home with the trophy. If it was all about the regular season the Cavaliers would be wearing rings right now and a good chance that Lebron would still be in Cleveland. The 16-0 New England Patriots from a few years back would be champs and not the NY Giants. So you talk about "reality"?......your "reality" is based on regular season numbers.....glad I live in a world where playoffs take place.

So you talk about "reality"?......your "reality" is based on regular season numbers.....glad I live in a world where playoffs take place. First of all I have nothing but respect for the Storm, they are the standard for success of the Indoor game and my Outlaws are working to and IMO are close to reaching the level of the best Indoor franchise in history. But make no mistake it is the Storm who they are chasing. BUT, I am not prepared to listen to SF fans this week try and tear down the 2009 IFL champion Outlaws. Yes the playoffs and regular season are different and you pointed out a couple of instances to prove your point. But last years Outlaws took care of all business that was put before them and that is all you can ask team to do. Some of you SF fans hold on to that 2005 season against the Bandits and you think that the same thing would of automatically happened last year. Well the 09 Outlaws are not the 05 Bandits, and if you wanted a chance to do it again take care of your off the field business. Besides I don't think you would have got past the Sankey led Rage. And if you want to talk trash to me about the 2010 Outlaws vs the 2010 Storm let me have it, because it will be a great game.

Last year is over. Billings won. I know at some level you take pride in that win as you should, but much like it we'd somehow wound up hosting Arkansas next week it just wouldn't have felt right. This is a title game SIX YEARS in the making.
as an aside... we DID get by the 09 Rage.. we beat Omaha two weeks ago ;-)

Another side note: the 05 Bandits had a player make it into the NFL, I could be wrong but I don't believe the 09 Outlaws did On the real point of this thread, I expect this game to be an instant classic! I only hope we can slow down the passing and running attacks of the Outlaws. Well at least I'll be able to yell and cheer on the Storm in person!!!! GO STORM!!!

I would also like to point out that all the Storm had to do was beat us ONE SINGLE TIME last year to make the playoffs and get a chance at the Championship. Didn't happen. Let the trash begin!
