When the IFL 2010 Schedule is announced, it will be posted here as well as week by week boards.
With 24 teams playing a schedule of 7 home and 7 away games it will probably last around 16-17 weeks to account for byes.
I've heard the regular season will start in February and probably end in June (perhaps late July).

2010 Schedule Updatewww.turfcats.com/news/2009-12-04/2010-schedule-update.htmlWhere's the schedule? This is easily the question we are hearing the most. While we don't have all of the answers at this point, here is a brief overview of what we do know. The 2010 IFL season will start the weekend of February 27, and last for 16 weeks. Each team will get two bye weeks to work with, and play 14 games - 7 home and 7 away. Following the end of the regular season (the weekend of June 12), playoffs will begin - leading up to the 2010 United Bowl. As far as the Turfcats are concerned, we'll start the season on our Rodeo Road Trip - as our friends at the Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo take over the Expo Center through the month of March. Home games will be packed into April and May. As previously announced, the Turfcats will face off against the other IFL teams in Texas - the Abilene Ruff Riders, the Amarillo Dusters, the Corpus Christi Hammerheads, the El Paso Generals, the Odessa Roughnecks, and the San Angelo Stampede Express - plus the Arkansas Twisters from the former af2. Over the next few weeks, we'll introduce you to each team. At this point, we hope to have the schedule released by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. To make sure you get a copy of the schedule delivered to your e-mail the minute it's released, make sure you've signed up for our E-TCAT News mailing list.

Every team I've been associated with cared about the fans a great deal. I would prefer not to tailgate in cold, wet, or wintery weather also. It doesn't seem to stop the college, NFL, or CFL fans. And most of them can't go inside and warm up during the game. It's not always fun tailgaing when it's over 100 degrees, and that's pretty common. Maybe they could postpone games when it rains or other inclement weather that could reduce our tailgating pleasure.

CF4L is jaded, and rightfully so.
The teams do care about their fans, but sometimes the leagues don't seem to put the effort into public relations that we'd like to see. We're not asking for NFL level anything here, just being able to live up to promises and reduce the nonsense we have to deal with would be a nice start.

Leagues and teams are still businesses in the end. Expectations from fans, especially die hards, are hard to meet many times. Many of us message board denizens have also been around for a long time and the trust factor isn't so high due to all the broken promises and bad business practices of multiple leagues of the past. Even if today's leagues did everything right, there would still be detractors. It's a fan's right to **** anyway, especially when we go to as many games as we do and still see multiple areas of improvements needed.
Even if everything was perfect, it is still our right, NAY OUR DUTY, to complain about something. Even if we have to make something up, I say complain away. "I object!"...objection noted...and overruled.
