Who's the greatest defensive end you've ever seen?

for Indoor/Arena Football, there is no doubt it is my good friend, Leif Murphy. close second ... Bruce Smith(though he played in a different league )

I may be new to the board but Nate Fluit was better than Leif Murphy.

I'll admit its a homer pick for me, but I only saw Fluit a few times and I saw Murphy a ton and he was great each time. The fact he's now playing in the AFL is testament to his ability as well.

I gotta tell you I've seen what seems fluitt play every week and he's a helluva player but I've also seen Murphy many a times and he's better imho....

Fluit/Murphy/Flyger
I'll vote for any of the 3.

Bynes - he had better stats than any of those guys while playing with two schmucks around him...unlike those guys, who always had each-other around them. Can't focus on one (like everyone in the NIFL and CIFL did with Bynes...to no avail).

Seen bynes play and he was very unimpressive to me....I'd take any top DE in the UIF any day of the week.

This is a toss up to me...Fluit meant more to the team but Murph was a stud. It's really hard to single out any Storm defensive player from that era because they were probaly all in the top 3-5 at every position. You have Murph & Fluit flanking Johnson. Blackburn is backing them up and in the secondary you have Fields, Crump, McIntyre and Poppinga. You tell me a weakness in that D.
