things are looking up then! btw- Auburn will be the next #1 to fall... Ya think? The real #1 has always been the AP Poll for me over the years though, and it has nothing to do with Oregon being #1 in it right now. When the coaches poll first came out way back when I thought that would be better than the AP, but I've found that coaches have many biases and also don't pay attention to what other conferences are doing (not all...some). I thought computerized polls would be better, but they are actually very wacky from all the different data fed in to them (case in point in the NFL...San Diego has the #1 offense and #1 defense in the NFL, but are 2-5 record wise. Stats and strengths of schedule don't tell the whole tale obviously. When the BCS standings came out they were a joke and have been a joke the entire time. The AP isn't perfect either, but I have found it to be the better of all evils since most sportswriters do at least try to keep up with every team and league, whereas the coaches don't. Everyone knows that a playoff is what is needed, but the only thing standing in the way is money. Those that are currently getting the money don't want to give it up to a new system and not get the money they currently are.

Doom would have to lose out and you win out for us not to meet in the first round and that's not going to happen. For us not to meet, you would have to lose your last two games and one of the others below you win out, and only then would we not meet in the first round of the playoffs. I doubt I can get the #1 ranking on Athlon now (#$&%^#), but when I win out I might be able to end in the top ten overall. You had a great week and Blackmon's suspension for his DUI and other stuff gave me an off week (but I still won ), so enjoy it now.

CHAMPIONSHIP (College Indoor Bowl 2)
#4 Nebraska Bugeaters vs #2 Doom
Defending Champion Doom takes on upstart Nebraska Bugeaters who upset undefeated CB in the first round.
Good luck to both players.

I've had teams lose in the playoffs many times before, despite being the league leading scorer (can't even count how many times it's happened). I've never had an undefeated team before though and then to see them lose in the playoffs it's very disappointing. Oh well, that's the breaks.
I still finished #43rd out of 15k+ players on the Athlon site, but sucks if you don't win your league title.

Some final regular season records:
TOP FIVE SCORES Fantasy Team .........Week.Score Nebraska Bugeaters... #09 205.30 Catastrophic Bananas #03 201.65 Catastrophic Bananas #02 198.05 Catastrophic Bananas #01 191.50 Catastrophic Bananas #10 182.35
1st Team, All League QB Cameron Newton, Auburn (39.15pts ave) Catastrophic Bananas RB LaMichael James, Oregon (26.83pts ave) Nebraska Bugeaters RB DeMarco Murray, Oklahoma (24.32pts ave) Catastrophic Bananas WR Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State (25.69pts ave) Catastrophic Bananas WR Randall Cobb, Kentucky (20.68pts ave) Doom WR Ryan Broyles, Oklahoma (19.41pts ave) Sportznut's Slackers TE Ladarius Green, UL-Lafayette (9.75pts ave) Sportznut's Slackers K Dan Bailey, Oklahoma State (11.45pts ave) Nebraska Bugeaters DEF/ST Oregon (19.50pts ave) Sportznut's Slackers
That's a nice lineup of college players. I wonder how many of the individuals above will go on to NFL Fantasy success. If I had to pick one of the players above, I'd say Blackmon would be most likely to have a good NFL career.

Blackmon will be good, and I think Broyles will do well too.
And Dan Bailey will probably get on a roster somewhere too.
