Congrats on being rabid fan! The more the merrier!
For me it's pretty much an addiction, only the fairer sex or a trip to a tropical paradise can top it. Sometimes I think it's ridiculous how much I like it, but what are you going to do? It's a love/hate thing though, definitely.

For years, people have been trying to make arena and indoor a go.
And yet, teams come and go, leagues come and go.
I am not sure what the problem is. It took me exactly one game to get hooked.
OK, so it isn't the NFL. But to me, it is just as exciting, maybe more so. It's more fan friendly, the talent is great, typically the seating is better, never a bad seat because one is so close to the action. The players really leave it all out on the field too.
So why isn't this type of football more popular?
I happen to live in Colorado, so I go to Ice games. But if I lived in Billings, Omaha, Tri Cities, wherever, I'd be at the games.
As I said before, great seating, great views, talent getting better and better, family friendly, and at the very least, so much more affordable than an NFL ticket.
If you buy the cheaper tickets, it doesn't cost a whole lot more than going to the movies.
What's the problem?
And this long 2 plus year recession is killing these teams.

only the fairer sex or a trip to a tropical paradise can top it. That's precisely the way I see it. ... well ... most of the time. Therefore I can certainly respect a fellow who has his priorities so squarely in focus.

ha, i was amongst the small group of Storm fans there this year that got told, politely, to stop being so loud and stop returning the harassment we were receiving from the Ice fans. I've always loved going to games in Colorado (have never missed a Sioux Falls game @ CO), except that 3 out of 4 games have happened the first weekend of June and the Good Guys totally take up the parking lot and make parking interesting.

Tropical paradise.. you mean the Sioux Falls Arena when it's >100 degrees outside and near 90 inside during a league championship game.. that's a tropical paradise my friend.. just wish I had an umbrella drink...

Uh yeah....your definition of tropical doesn't cut it for me...lol. Put the Storm girls in bikinis serving tropical drinks and somehow get a huge wavepool with imported sand to sit by and perhaps it's doable, throw in some palm trees, surfboards, sharks, etc...and then we're talking.

I have been through the most of the carrib. islands and nothing beats this place.

Colorado may get to play against the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz next season, in their division even. Wichita and the Ice will be in a division with Prescott Valley, Arizona and if the Dawgz move to the IFL they would likely be added to the division as well.
While Arizona isn't tropical, there is some good heat there.

Yeah, the BEC arena ushers and security staff were like little Hitlers or something this year. They need to do something about that. They were that way at Eagles hockey games as well last year. They are trying to ban noise makers like cowbells.
I'm guessing Prescott isn't the same thing as Prescott Valley.
Isn't Prescot Valley a group of several towns near Paulden?
If it's near Paulden, it's barren. Are there even any people there?

Right, the car show was that weekend. Lot of nice cars though. Ice fans didn't have anything to taunt you all about. We lost like 75 to 50 or something. On the bright side, the Ice did put decent numbers up, considering who we were playing. Typically in this league, you win if you put more than 50 points on the board.

Prescott Valley is located in Yavapai County in central Arizona approximately 85 miles north of Phoenix at 5100 ft. elevation. Paulden is indeed close by. Division Travel Time: (assuming this ends up being the alignment) Fort Collins to Prescott Valley: 14 hours. Fort Collins to Wichita: 9 hours. Fort Collins to Oklahoma City: 11 hours.

I just looked it up, Presott Valley is less than 40,000. But there are several surrounding communities.
