Discuss the Wenatchee Valley Venom at Sioux Falls Storm Week 3 matchup here.
This will be the first ever meeting between these two teams.

I anticipate a better defensive effort from the Storm D.

I don't think Wenatchee will be ready for the Sioux Falls Arena. Especially not after flying into Denver then getting on a bus to drive to Sioux Falls, knowing that they have a long bus ride from Sioux Falls to Loveland and then flying back via Denver home. Going to be a long road trip for them two loses in 5 days!

Devin Hollins over Chris Dixons???...lol...he's just saying that to pump his QB up.
This article used a lot of pointstreak errors, fixed them.www.wenatcheeworld.com/news/2011/mar/12/coach-venom-still-have-much-to-prove-sioux-falls/[/b] win over the Kent Predators in their season opener Feb. 25. Dixon made quite the impact in that game, throwing for 190 yards and 10 touchdowns 8 touchdowns, and rushing for 48 yards and 2 touchdowns. “Chris Dixon, stopping him or minimizing his success is key,” Smith said. “He’s a great athlete and a seasoned vet in this league.” Smith has confidence, and his own quarterback, come Monday, however. “I’ll take Devin Hollins over Chris Dixon any day of the week,” he said about his signal-caller who has anchored an eight-game winning streak dating back to last season. Against Sioux Fall’s high-powered offense and physical defensive line, an added importance will be put on execution for Wenatchee Valley. “We can’t make the mistakes we’ve made over the last couple of weeks,” Smith said. “We’ve had unnecessary penalties, dropped balls, a couple turnovers we shouldn’t have made. We made it difficult on ourselves.” Well-traveledThe Venom is in for an adventurous week. First, they’ll take vans to Spokane and fly out to Denver on Saturday, where they’ll stay the night. They’ll bus to Sioux Falls for Monday’s game, but rather than head home, they’ll bus back to Denver, where they’ll stay until their Friday game against the Colorado Ice. They’ll fly back to Spokane and return to Wenatchee the next day, and they will have a full week of practice before their next home game against the Fairbanks Grizzlies.[/quote]

Hollins over Dixon huh? I think Dixon is the only guy I would have taken over Bryant, let alone slipping down to Hollins. Experience counts for a lot.. Bring on the train wreck! Here's to a good clean injury free game!

You're either lying through your teeth or just plain stupid if you dont think Dixon is the best qb in the ifl, any team would be lucky to have him. Just comes down to who could afford him and between those teams who has the best shot at winning and its obviously sioux falls.

Dixon got heated up over that quote on his facebook page as well. I think a blowout is coming.
