And to think, I thought I was done with banditsleapzone crying about the Storm. Guess not. Just like a little kid. Crying to mommy all the time that they other kids don't pick him to be on their team.

I agree BT. Give me the proof or give me a break. I wish there was more parity in the league, but the other teams have to play! I would love to have a new arch-rival to hate but no one appears to be ready to step up. I miss the epic battles we have had with the Outlaws, the Horsemen, and the bandits to name a few. (Untill the bandits just became the Storms beatches..) Speaking of which.. My comments for you BLZ were not to be rude but to be helpfull. I hate to see you come across as a whiney crybaby spouting baseless accusations.

Strange. Our closest game so far this season is the game in which we scored 105 pts.

This league needs more teams that care about winning and not just making money. Unfortunately, the Bandits fall into that category. Bobby Scott didn't really care about the score, just how many people PAID to go to the game.
And I know for a FACT that in the past, the Bandits paid a player more than what the league allowed.

Green Bay is a small market team in the NFL and only have success in this day and age due to salary cap rules. In baseball they wouldn't have a chance. The teams in the NFL that choose not to reach their cap limit and show poor results on the field deserve their misery, but they do have the option to get better.
It makes me laugh on both sides when people complain about the Storm or defend them. I think I'm pretty neutral...this is minor league sports and this will continue to go on. To deny that the Storm aren't overpaying players though is funny as h...either people are delusional or just blowing smoke. No need to worry, other teams are overpaying as well, there were plenty of teams wooing Chris Dixon this off-season. Like I said though, no one can touch what the Storm put out this year.

Lol, this thread is getting hilarious, Storm cheat, so do prolly 1/4-1/2 the other teams in the league, there is proof, it just won't get surfaced cause lets face it, minor league sport, noone gives a ****, besides the fans on message board. The owners might get pissed when they get wiped the floor with.Storm fans are so angry at sioux city even though we aren't even in the same league anymore. Funny Stuff, as always, keep it (un)classy, like most of you always do, i enjoy the lolz.

Green Bay is a small market team in the NFL and only have success in this day and age due to salary cap rules. In baseball they wouldn't have a chance. . The NFL's salary cap only began six years ago. The Packers existence does not depend on the salary cap. Substitute "TV revenue sharing" for "salary cap" and you have a valid point. Baseball does not share its TV revenue.

and oh, by the way none of the top 4 revenue/payroll teams were in this years' Major League Baseball championship (refuse to call it World Series, because the US is frankly only the 5th or 6th best baseball country in the world)
Giants were 5th, Texas was like 15th or something... don't give me that "can't make it" The NBA is the ONLY league where you don't have a chance without money.

The NFL does have a cap floor, though not a salary floor. Over the long term the cash out is the same, but certainly teams can underspend the cap.
The Browns facilities are fine; they just hired a bunch of idiots to run things over the years. I'm pleased with how things are going with the walrus et al...but we'll see.

Here is what I posted for those who are losing their minds...and this was in reply to someone elses post
(Naturaly a storm fan would have a smart ass reply to this...some things never change. They need to wake up because this is bad for the league and it just keeps getting worse...teams will leave because of this..cheat cheat cheat...best fans can do is email Benizo and let him know how you feel....Of course a storm fan will disagree with this but I dont care. )
a fan posted his view and was hammered by storm fans
I add in my opinon this is bad for the league...agree or not I read why you think it is good for the league and didnt freak out.I think there will be some teams who spend alot to try and take down the storm and then it becomes a vicous circle of spending.I do believe it will make some teams leave the league.Again my opinion.
Also if you have a problem with the league email Benizo......JUST AS YOU STORM FANS HAVE DONE!
Now the Cheat cheat cheat part...well you do cheat.....so do others....The Bandits..well I bet you are right that they paid above the $200 to a few players..yep your right they are cheaters to then.
Would the Bandits be in the IFL with a different owner??I dont think Sioux Citys market has enough sponsors to compete in the IFL.I said it many times Sioux City is in the league that it belongs in now.Me I like the talent level of the IFL but it is what it is.

I agree BLZ, it is what it is. and the unfortunate reality of the world we live in is that it takes money to make money. Indoor Football is capitalism at it's finest.. the harder you work, the better (normally) your product is. This isn't a global economy in indoor football, so in order to produce the highest quality product you have to have spend the money to attract and maintain your personnel, you can't outsource or import and expect to make it, you have to build it yourself.
Lastly.."Cheating" implies rule breaking.... but what happens if there are not guidelines or rules covering such and such, but it's against the "spirit" or a more broad rule?
hastily assembled example. ECON states that all documents for the class must be in 12pt Time New Roman font. the professor allows a 3x5 card (Storm is @ Wichita this week, inside joke) for notes to be written for exams.
Well the rules say "written", is it against the rules to type it up? is it against the rules if you type it up to use a small font to get more information on the card?
If I type up my 3x5 card using a 6.5 point font, am I cheating?
