Easy to make a guarantee when you've already won before stepping on the field. If they were really balsy, they'd say they'd have to win by 60pts (which they'll do if they go all out, but at least it'd be more close to the truth).
This is definitely taking advantage of your supporters with false advertising (since the general public doesn't know that this contest is already predetermined).

Coming into this game Bricktown (2-10) is ranked #21 and Amarillo (3-9) is ranked #17.
Amarillo has won three straight under their new coach and this is one is a guaranteed win for number four in a row. The North Texas Crunch semi-pro team will be playing their second game wearing the Bricktown helmets and jerseys.

The North Texas Crunch (masquerading as the Bricktown Brawlers) got CRUNCHED.
Amarillo looked sloppy (a lot of busted plays), but it didn't matter tonight.

Stinks that this will go down as a second shutout in IFL history... when they weren't even really playing an IFL team. At least when the Spartans got a shutout a month ago they played a team that had been around all season.
10 total yards for "Bricktown" in this one. **shakes head**

Agree. I prefer teams folding over replacement farces.
