The Commissioner also mentioned on the latest radio show that Tucson may be held off a year if they don't get closer teams around them for the coming season, this seems to indicate that that will happen, but who knows. arena football is merely descriptive... the us patent office said so in 98, which pre-dates most of the indoor leagues...

Looks like Tucson will look to join the AIFA for 2011.
