This game is going to be ugly for Green Bay. Good chance for the 2nd or 3rd string to get some reps in.

Coming into this game the Green Bay Blizzard (7-2) are ranked #2 and the Sioux Falls Storm (9-0) are ranked #1.
Even though this is a #1 vs #2 ranked battle, it's expected to be a Storm blowout win. Green Bay is missing some players due to suspension stemming from a fight during last week's win over La Crosse, but even if they were at full strength they'd still probably lose by at least 4 TDs. No team's been able to stay with Sioux Falls through four quarters this year, save one.

It turned out to a much closer game then I was thinking it would be. But I think that had a lot to do with our guys had an off night and played a bad night of football. But a win is a win and the guys have a very short week to regroup and get ready for that Rockey Mountain Air.
As I watch the game and thought about it after the Green Bay coach seemed very respectful and professional. There were some players on the team that really gave me the feeling that Green Bay is a dirty team to play against and I was very surprised things didn't get out of hand a couple of times last night. Overall, I was not impressed with Green Bay, but nor did I expect to be. Good kicking by their kicker though.

I agree.. but the saddest part of the whole evening is that whether it's a sign of the fans expecting a blowout, or just another stupid scheduling quirk... (Storm got bumped to Sunday for roller derby.. really.. ugh) there was more buzz at church... It was dead.. dead..dead in the arena last night.. No offense but if felt like a Stampede (USHL Junior Hockey) game in the first half..
I was going to comment that they were just a physical team right up until one of the DL tried of best to rip JJ's head off via the most violent facemask I've ever seen in person, now they're juat a dirty bunch of cheapshot artists... #8 Powers talked a LOT but never backed it up.. got ran over by Jones for a score in the middle of the 3rd.. made my night..
Not sure why we started Franks at WR with Leon Hall and another WR on the roster.. coach must really hate Leon.. hopefully everyone can get healthy during what should be a MUCH needed bye week before the 2nd round playoff games kick off.

Interesting that you guys saw them as a "dirty" team. I think you are right.
La Crosse got some flack saying that they started things last weekend, but it seemed to me like they just reached a breaking point from what GB had been doing.
Just think, the guys that were the worst at the previous game were not even there, since they were suspended.

Green Bay wasn't exactly clean when BananaCat and I went to their last AF2 game against Iowa in Des Moines a few years ago.
I'm not sure how many players are carried over though. I guess its just their team culture.
