The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week One in the IFL. Each week the IFL selects three players, one from each phase of the game, offense, defense, and specials teams, whose play on the field stood out among the rest of the competition. Week one was nothing short of exciting as we saw nail biting competition as well as some record breaking performances.
Offensive Player of the Week: Chris Dixon, QB, Sioux Falls Storm
Dixon is no stranger to success. This two time IFL champion QB saw his team to a 105-71 finish in their game Friday breaking the all-time IFL scoring record. Dixon put up 10 touchdowns, 190 yards passing and 48 yards rushing, in an impressive performance to start the season.
Defensive Player of the Week: Dennis Rogan, DB, Tri-Cities Fever
Rogan takes the throne as the IFL Defensive player of the week with an outstanding performance on Saturday. DB Rogan had an impressive 3 interceptions in the Fevers win, as well as 5.5 tackles and 3 pass break ups. The Fever defense would show their strength holding the Adrenaline to only 28 points in the 76-28 victory.

The Amarillo Venom would fall to the Colorado ICE on Saturday, but not before KR standouts Donta Brown and Cashmin Thomas would make their mark.
