If you have 30 min to burn, this will be playing on a loop for the next week. Some pretty interesting topics, including: Dixon/Bryant relationship, Riggs' coaching future, running the score up on opponents, new events center and a couple of shots at Bob Scott and the Bandits. www.argusleader.com/sportsweb

Dixon said he reached out to TB before going to Sioux Falls, but said TB has ignored him. He's seen him in the locker toom twice and he hasn't come over to say hi to him, so Dixon say's he's over it.
Riggs took a shot at Bob Scott again, saying how he'll miss playing Sioux City and seeing Scott frustrated in the stands.
When asked about retiring TB's jersey, Riggs said his philosophy is to wait awhile before retiring a players jersey. He slammed Sioux City for retiring player's jerseys the year after they left and he says he didn't even recognize some of those names.
Dixon said he wants to play against Colorado bad, a reference to play against O'Neal. Seems like some bad blood there.
Riggs said they requested to play Kent when O'Neal signed there and the league helped in making that happen.
Riggs says he's extremely happy with his job as a teacher and coaching indoor football and has no plans in making a change in that regard.

Riggs was extremely quick to respond when asked if he'd take a head coaching job for any of the local high schools. A very emphatic NO. He also didn't sound real keen on college coaching either. Never say never, I guess, but it doesn't sound like he'll be leaving anytime soon.

Dixon and TB's bad blood goes at least as far back as 09... It's sad they can't bury the hatchet. The rest of us have at least begrudgingly accepted Chris..

Somewhat understandable since he was the one who was replaced. Riggs just smiled while this was being talked about.

Storm have only given up one sack this year...wow.
Riggs says key to Storm success is O-line.
Dixon is league leader as passer and also leads league in rushing TDs.
Riggs mentioned Green Bay, Omaha, and Chicago as the teams that could give the Storm trouble in the playoffs if they bring it for four quarters.
Riggs admitted to a lot of bitterness around the league as far as them having all the best Billings players in. They've received a lot of feedback from the league and many teams. Players are under a one year contract and after 1 January the teams still have their rights, but can be traded.
Bob Scott ref wasn't really a shot, just mentioned that he would take Storm leftovers and make a team out of them when they were in the same league. He did say the Bandits are doing well this year.
Bemoaned the league attendance in some places.
Gave Bob Scott credit for leaving for a smaller league due to turnover of teams in IFL. Says Grand Island is a great addition to the league. Oklahoma City and Richmond he didn't give much credit. Says core of IFL teams are strong. Many IFL owners like having the best league and to some that means largest. Emphasis is going more to stable teams for next year (as far as expansion and currently troubled teams).
Myniya Smith said talent level in AFL was better when he was in it, but that the league had the same problems. He likes the indoor style of play better than arena, likes having a true running game.
Riggs feels indoor players have a good shot to make UFL over arena players. Also feels indoor players will be left out of UFL this season due to NFL lockout, where fringe NFL players will be in UFL instead.
