Storm would be very wise to have paid attention to what happened to Miami in the NBA playoffs. The most talent did not win that ring, the most desire did. We're going to have to bring it on the field and in the stands for the entire game.
hopefully we can bring a decent crowd, although judging by the tickets that are available at ticketmaster, we'll be lucky to reach 2000 for attendance...makes me sad

Serious? They have a great team, why aren't locals interested?

who knows.. could be anything... it's summer now, and 900 other things to do outside... people just assume they'll win, getting burnt out, we had 10 year season ticket holders not renew for the playoffs... I think that pretty much explains it.

Well, you can't blame the organization. They only went out and got an all-star team and dominated the regular season. Are they marketing well?

Yeah it may be rough but there is still hope as there is are still five days until game day. In a related note if anyone wants 9 tickets in Section D row 10 they are apparently available according to Ticketmaster.
I think the Storm have done what they can and need to do for advertising. I don't know that beyond the radio and tv spots and promotional events such as morning radio shows, bikini car washes, etc. done this season could help out any more.
In the end, it is what it is. All I can do is go there and have fun!

Right. They get good coverage in the local paper too.

B2 has been a lot better this year, compared to years prior. Or maybe my high speed connection is better here, who knows. $75 for the whole season worked out great and kept me connected. In fact I've seen more games this year than any year previous...but only 2 live games.

When is the last time attendance has been under 2,000 anyway? Pretty sure it hasn't been that low in a long time and now your saying it's going to happen in a playoff game, against our biggest rival, the one team that screwed up our perfect season. I'm sorry, but that ain't going to happen.

It was a sad crowd last year on June 26th for the the opening playoff game against Omaha. The weather might have had something to do with it, but I'd wager were right at 2000 for that game if not a touch below. Let's not pretend that we're selling out the arena like we used to.

The arena can seat very close to 5,000. I don't recall the arena being less than 2/5 full. I just don't believe we have had less than 2,000 during that time frame. By the way, haven't missed a game since 2006 playoffs.

Massey Prediction: Sioux Falls beats Omaha by 33 points (63-30), over/under of 93 points.
OtB Prediction: Sioux Falls beats Omaha by 24 points (62-38), over/under of 100 points.

By the way, haven't missed a game since 2006 playoffs. The arena seats 4700 for hockey and football. (this doesn't count the end zone "boxes") last years game playoff game versus Omaha, it was less than 50% full (4700 *.5 = 2350) due to weather or fan apathy, I'm not sure...Pointstreak football has no place to input attendance, and the Storm hasn't advertised these figures since 2008 that I can remember. If we're flying colors, missed one home game since 2004, and missed only 3 games total in the last two years (last season @bil regular season, this season @ Kent, and @chicago) I've got a few miles under my belt for this team like I said.. struggle to get to 2000 as I could walk up to the box office tomorrow and get 2 6th row tickets in Section D Not trying to start argument here, but this is a no BS zone to be sure. I'm not sure how Kent V, Collin, and Co. made the playoff games "sell out" in 2005-2008 but they did, I had 13 seats in 2007 for the playoffs, and could have used more.. I can't GIVE my extras for Saturday's game away..
