Two hightest scoring teams in the league, and neither make it to 20 by halftime. Defenses stepping up. The Storm, however, are much closer to getting things going on Offense than the Fever. Tri's offense is looking AWFUL. Our standing as a 2nd half team BETTER hold true or this could get ugly...

Defense wins championships... Storm give up 2 touchdowns is the last 2 playoff games..impressive The D-Line dominated. 4 sacks, a blocked FG and only 4 yds rushing allowed. Lillard was under a ton of pressure every snap.

Thumbs up - Brian McIntire. I haven't been a big fan of him starting at linebacker this year. I've never thought he was a good fit at the position and thought Tyler Knight should have seen more playing time but McIntire played out of his mind tonight. He was everywhere. That 30yd INT return for a TD decided the game.
Thumbs down - The commissioner and his cronies and their MVP Pick. Dixon? Are you kidding me? Everyone in the arena knew McIntire was the MVP. Dixon's numbers were very pedestrian. What are you thinking? The PA guys had already announced McIntire as the player of the game (which isn't the same as the MVP) about midway through the 4th.
Thumbs up - Chris Dixon. He did not play well in the 1st half and finished with average numbers. He was as surprised as anyone when he was announced the MVP. Class act by him for coming up on stage, acknowledging that he wasn't deserving of the award (his words) and saying that he was giving it to a player that truly was deserving(his words again), Brian McIntire.
Thumbs down - Many of the Tri Cities defensive players. The game is slipping out of your grasp, you're getting dominated late in the game. I know that it's frustrating but try to go out with a little dignity. Enough with the cheap shots, the punches and ending every play with a shoving match. You're embarrassing yourselves and your team.
Thumbs up - The Crowd. As loud as I've heard it in the Arena in several years. The place was rocking. A double thumbs up for booing the commish loudly when he came up to the mic before and after the game. Well done!
