Marion plays Cincinnati this coming week and the winner gets homefield advantage in the playoffs (which is important since these two teams will more than likely be meeting in the title game since Dayton and Chicago are pretty bad). Marion needs to win by seven or more points though since Cincy won the first battle between them by 6.

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Marion Blue Racers remained alive in their bid for a Continental Indoor Football League regular season championship with a 53-24 victory over the Chicago Knights on Sunday.
Chicago struck first with a touchdown midway through the first quarter, but Marion led 23-6 at the half and held a 30-18 advantage in the second half.
Blue Racers quarterback Josh Harris scored three touchdowns on runs of one, six and five yards while also completing a 25-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Williams.
Marc Huddleston caught an eight-yard touchdown pass from Mike Tatum and connected with offensive lineman Michael Hills for another eight-yard score.
Robert Price, another offensive lineman, added a two-yard touchdown run while Tyler Lorenz kicked a 32-yard field goal and six PAT kicks and Bryceson Lawrence snagged a pass on a Chicago two-point conversion attempt and returned it to the end zone for a two-point score.
The Blue Racers are now 8-1 and are one game back of the undefeated Cincinnati Commandos.
The teams will meet Saturday in Cincinnati.
The Commandos won the first meeting between the two teams 50-44. Should the Blue Racers win by seven points or more they will earn the top seed in the playoffs.
