Pirates finally get a break and get an easy win against the road only Kings. Welcome to another beatdown Kings, aren't you glad you agreed to join the league a year early to get all this valuable beatdown experience?

The Pirates pillage the Kings. But somehow the Kings actually pull off a safety, only scoring 2 points in this game.

Pirates should win regardless who their new coach is. However the Kings will put more than 2 points on the board.

Pirates should win even if hung over.
Over/Under on Kings total points is 7.

Crunch-Pirates Game Postponed
Posted on June 13, 2009 by Dan Ryan
LAKE CHARLES, La. (June 12, 2009) – Saturday’s Southern Indoor Football League game between the North Texas Crunch and Texas Pirates has been rescheduled, SIFL Director of Operations Robert Winfrey and Commissioner Dan .J Blum announced today.
``Details to finalize the new home for the Pirates will be completed early next week, so the team has asked us to reschedule this game ,’’ Winfrey said. In the meantime, this one game will not take place as scheduled.’’
``The Texas Pirates have seen many challenges in their inaugural season, but we’re confident the team’s new owners have made the right decisions to ask for a postponement,’’ Blum added.
``Rescheduling games has not been easy,’’ said Winfrey. ``With so many new teams in one season, I’m not surprised these challenges have surfaced. We will complete our full schedule as planned.’’
Week 9 of the SIFL season features the Houma Conquerors travelling to face the Acadiana Mudbugs on Saturday and the Louisiana Swashbucklers hosting the Austin Turfcats in a key game Monday night.
