It has nothing to do with you Dan. Don't take it personally. Nice production, by the way.

Thanx Brandon. It's nice to be appreciated.
But ... please don't trash my league my league President, Commissioner, my fellow staff members, or my teams in a public forum. They've been good to me, allowed me to practice a profession I enjoy and am relatively good at and even allowed me to run their communications effort in another time zone so I can enjoy being a step-grandfather and my wife's thrill of being a grandmother.
I apologize to for my unprofessional actions during the webcast. I shouldn't have let your comments get to me, but they did and I regret my conduct.

So, to the average fan, isn't the SIFL just the APFL South with larger budgets and shinier logos?
Team owner run the league. travel teams, missed games, etc? I LOVED the production of the SIFL championship, though.. that's a FAN FRIENDLY deal right there. Won't see that in the IFL as it won't make anyone any money. *sigh*

No excuses, We had some obstacles along the way, some major, some minor, but they all were handled swiftly and as professionally as possible.
Are there things I would want different? Of course and thats why we are going to the League Conference for, to discuss and prepare for 2010!
Thanks to everyone that supported the little league that could

Thanks for the webcast, I enjoyed it.
I must've missed the unprofessional conduct you're talking about Dan, unless it was the chat thing or something. I didn't see that part since I was projecting it up on my projector screen and went full screen without the chat part. It looked great in my living room btw.
Good luck in the league meetings and thanks for all you guys did during the year to keep the league has honest as you could.
I hope travel teams and replacement teams can be done away with for next year, and a great way to make that happen is with solid ownerships (which prevents teams from dropping out or having to find replacement owners/or league takeover). I know that you guys aren't involved in that process though.
With 4 solid teams and possibly the strengthening up of Houma the league now has solid teams to build off of going into next year. If they can just bring in a few other solid teams and jump up to 8 solid teams that can play throughout the year with little issues (there will always be something), that would be the way to go. If they can get 10 solid teams that'd be great. They have an advantage in this offseason as they have the more time to prepare than last year. Still, adding teams late is not the way to go, so I hope they can get new teams committed by December and get them to start getting everything together so that there will be no repear issues of venue problems and owner problems. Adding a bunch of teams that aren't prepared, similar to this year, is my fear of what will happen again and that the league will never progress as it should and will be stuck in the same pattern the APFL is in.

now, if only the leagues would focus on thei strong regions and play nice and just make it work.
but alas, too many egos and greed.
