Very true. I was surprised he joined the SIFL to tell the truth.

Very true. I was surprised he joined the SIFL to tell the truth. He thought he was going to be the one Hager basically gave things away to...then Hager found a schmuck willing to pay for the SIFL. (This is speculation with some source info).

Ah, hadn't heard that one...kind of interesting and very believable. If true, his mistake for trusting Hager (almost spelled his name Hagar again, bad habit, not sure where I got on track thinking his name had two a's).

The way I understand it, Dittman just taking it over was the fallback option (in Hager's mind, apparently) - Dittman may or may not have known there was a guy willing to pay money for this thing, but you've gotta take the cash when someone's dumb enough to offer it.

Being a Texas guy I would love to see WT, Allen, Amarillo, San Angelo, Belton, Beaumont and Frisco in the mix. If Lake Charles was Hagerless and a team in Sherport.

I like the IFL style of play better than arena and the old Intense league was more arena than indoor style. Therefore I hope there are more Texas teams in the IFL than in the Intense league...especially as I may move to San Antonio (we'll see).

True I do enjoy the running game but in the grand scheme of things I would rather a team playing in a league that has the best chance of survival. Sure if you have owners with deep pockets you will have a team. I just think some of those owners pockets might have holes in them and there must be a better plan to help those owners.

I'd take folding over arena style...arena is unwatchable to me.

To me thats like saying I am dying from thirst and not drink the pepsi because I like coke. And yes football is like life and death here in Texas.

That's you. I don't like arena style and I'm unapologetic for it. No running game and a handcuffed defense is not for me. It's bad enough indoor is so high scoring already, we don't need more gimmicks to make it easier for the offense. I'm not a fan of the two way players either. The WRs also play DB and they're so winded they can barely cover when on defense. The easy pitch and catch all game just bores me to tears, and I won't watch it. Believe me, I've tried, and I can't stand it. Ask CF4L, we went to an Iowa Barnstormers playoff game and I was bored to tears. I don't drink pepsi or coke, I drink water. If there's no indoor football and i do move to Texas, then I'll do other things (home improvement, drive to the coast, etc).

The arena league hasn't had two-way play mandated for five years or so.

Some Indoor teams have players playing on both sides of the ball. Granted it is usually because of injury and the limited gameday roster... but it still happens in Indoor.
I agree I like Indoor better from my limited experience with Arena. But, I would still rather have Arena than nothing if it came down to that.
