Looks like Kramer not only backed out of taking over the Rio Grande Valley Magic, but the Hammerheads as well. If memory serves, Kramer was going to be involved with Houston and another team, don't know the status of that. Odds are it was financial reasons that had Kramer bolting. This makes Dittman a busy man again, and THE major owner in the league (stop me if you've heard this before).

CORPUS CHRISTI - Hammerheads owner Chad Dittman is ready for 2012. A few months ago he wasn't sure if he'd even be with the Hammerheads for this upcoming season, as he was valley bound to take care of the day to day operations for the RGV Magic, while Joe Kramer handled the Hammers.
But things have changed, and once again Dittman is the man behind the behind fish, who are in a new league called the Lone Star Football League, which features all Texas teams.
"My goal is to build stability in the league and stay in it for 10 years, and we don't wanna keep hopping leagues we just wanted to get back to an all Texas league and we think we got it right this time," said Dittman.
Dittman went onto to say there's a 90% chance Dustin Almond will be back as the team's Head Coach, but did mention that Almond is currently in the running for a high school coaching job outside of the state.
The Hammers and the LSFL are also working vigorously to reach out to the community, with a number of strategies. First off, if you are a season ticket holder you can use your ticket to attend any game at any venue, the league is also giving away 1,000 tickets to the armed forces.
"Just trying to get back into the community and give back as much as possible, this is our 9th year and the community has been great," said Dittman.
