The Sioux Falls Storm are five weeks away from beginning their Indoor Football League title defense as a fairly eventful off-season winds down. Sioux Falls traded away one of the most popular and prolific players in franchise history and revamped their coaching staff, and head coach Kurtiss Riggs shed some light on those moves – and the possibility of facing Terrell Owens – in an interview with the Argus Leader on Tuesday. Q. The season is getting closer. When do you guys get started? A. We open camp on Feb. 12. Things are pretty much set. We’re done with our roster – to make a change or addition at this point, it would have to be someone that we felt could come in and take the spot of someone we have now. Q. How many guys are in camp? A. Forty. And we only get to keep 25 now (the league used to allow 30). The gameday roster is still just 21, but with only four reserves now you’re going to see a ton of turnover throughout the league because teams aren’t going to have much depth.
