I did a check with the people in Macon that I know. These are the former Macon Knights fan club members. Long story short there is no contract for the steel to play at the Macon arena as of today. They have called the AIF office and yet to get an answer. Another saga gone bad.

There was a press conference Tuesday. The people up in Macon are skeptical anything will happen and hate the fact the team will be semi-pro at best since no one has been signed.

It's going to be a joke of a league for this year, but if the prices aren't bad I feel comfortable they'll play all 5 (?!!!) home games.

The odds on the Macon Steel being a success story are pretty long.

Depends on your standards. If "play all their games" is the success story, the season might be over before anyone realizes anything went wrong.
