LFL US will be on hiatus until the Spring of 2013.
Why? Because the owner/commissioner of the league, Mitchell Mortaza, wants to get LFL Canada started for 2012 and doesn't trust anyone to run LFL US in his absence.
Taking a year off... what a great way to destroy fanbase momentum...lol.

Oh this are really some BAD news, the fanbase was growing a lot and now I'm affraid it will go down in a fast, fast way... I mean, it's sad to know this because the idea of now watching games from a new league with a "starter" quality, will not be liked by all of us, we are watching the games for the football, we are following the players for their quality... it's a real shame that now we have to see some "rookies" playing a sport they are not very familiar with... shame on Mortaza... AGAIN

Stupid, when the AFL closed up shop for 2009, the fans have not come back. The teams used to get 13,000+ most now are getting 7,000-8,000 range. A year off for the LFL could destroy it.
