WTF? The Storm website says 4pm to 5pm for the radio show this year, still broadcast live home game days from Rookies. So who in Hades will be off work to listen, let alone attend this new time slot? These guys are f'n killin me this year. No news for chit, then they take away the news I can get during the season! And while I am venting, this forum blows! The old forum had a lot more people posting. Moving the forum killed most of the post traffic. This one has too many catagories anyway. If I have forgotten to beeitch about anything else drop me a pm and I will include it in the next post. P.S. Is there a better Storm only forum out there? Or maybe Storm and Sioux City A$$bandit only forum? (I would miss the whining about the Storm overpaying or the refs cheating in the Storms favor...)

The reason the Kurtiss Riggs show is on this week from 4 to 5 is because the University of Sioux Falls plays in the NAIA national tourney at 5:45 tomorrow and KWSN carries their games. As far as I know the rest of the shows will be at 5:30 as always.

First of all the old forum was not moderated, and was owned by someone that didn't want it anymore. He had a Ohio state senate race to run..this is what we've got.. pimp the hell out of it. It took 2 or 3 years to build dan's old site into what it was...
NOW
I could agree with you more about the Kurtiss Riggs show. It seems that the front office if too busy with their own freaking lives and don't give two shits about the fans this season. It's one piddly half-assed attempt after another. Fan-Fest from 8am-1030am on a Saturday morning.. what the hell. Coaches show from 4-5 why even bother... Why even have it at Rookies game weeks. save the money they are obviously trying to save and keep it in the studio. Hopefully the Storm will realize the error of their ways and at LEAST archive the broadcasts via audiosportsonline. I can hope in one hand and **** in the other and I already know which hand will fill up first. I'll be kinda happy if we only pull 2500 or so for the first couple home games... serves these knuckleheads right for just going through the motions. This is the front office of the FOUR TIME league champs, and all the fans get is a front office freaking going through the motions.
It's not acceptable. not at all.

Well, I did manage to sneak some time at work to listen to the radio show. It did seam to me that Riggs was fairly tight lipped about most things. I am not sure I heard mention of any new names, only the old names. It also sounded to me like coach Aldridge may be taking the new threats by Bloomington a bit lightly....

the whole league is being sort of tight lipped about things this season, it's rather odd, and frustrating. I of course have show no mercy on this front.

yeah BLZ, we've noticed the roster, at least I have. here's the issue.. I don't feel like googling "Brent Little" to find out anything about the guy...We're spoiled and lazy..
here's what's got my ire this season. in the last 5 years, we've had releases on darn near everybody that's signed... the press releases usually come to season ticket holders via email. The Storm has just taken a giant step backward off the field this season.

I agree. I have looked at the roster, which is too long still, and googled some names. But why no info from the team? Why no mention today of new players? Heck, build up a little anticipation and excitement. I fear that many fans will be asleep at the begining of the season and no-show. Remember selling out the games last year right out of the gate? Also last year at this time they had not only covered more players, but released season ticket holder numbers. Why not this years numbers? I bet I know why not....

I don't feel like googling Brent Little to find out anything about the guy...We're spoiled and lazy.. Allright wheres the real BT?LOL He's overworked and completely disappointed with what I perceived to be a lack of effort, and a lack of knowledge from a media director that can't even proofread his own press releases. "...Leif also had a game high against the Colorado Ice with 3.5 tackles in a single game..." Even my wife knew that wasn't right... it was 3.5 SACKS and this sentance just isn't worded right at all. "...In his career with the Rampage, Murphy led the Rampage with three forced fumbles and ranked second with three sacks during the regular season. Murphy also tied the league for most pass breakups by a linemen with three (3)..." huh, wha... career.. I love Murph.. but he played one season in Grand Rapids... How about In his single season with the Rampage, Murphy led the team with three forced fumbles and finished second on the team with three sacks.
