Springfield Wolfpack folded and have cancelled tomorrow's (Saturday, 19 May) home game. The Kansas Koyotes will receive a forfeit win for their trouble, their second in a row after the Colorado Lightning folded on them last week. Is a visit by Kansas a harbinger of doom for APFL teams?
No word on whether or not the league will cancel their away games or bring in semi-pro replacement teams so their opponents don't have to cancel home dates.

sucks losing a home game but bringing in total no talents teams would be worse if they play like they (i think it was) St Joe when they came to sioux city and lost 112-0 need atleast some competition

agreed some competition is needed. Bringing in scrub replacement teams only makes the league look weak. some teams in this league are trying to run professional organizations, and the league name suggests it is professional. teams folding is bad enough, beating up on replacement teams only makes it worse. like it was said before this is most disappointing to those fans that planned on attending these games.

Welcome to the world of arena/indoor football for the last three years every league arena and indoor has had teams fold or play with replacement players.

Welcome to the world of arena/indoor football for the last three years every league arena and indoor has had teams fold or play with replacement players. It's been going on for 15 years actually, but not every league has folded/used replacements during the entire span. There have been some bright spots, but not many. For this season there are still 3 leagues out of 7 that haven't folded a team or used replacements, but the season's not over yet.

Another term for folded and a semi-pro replacement team playing in it's place.

Ummm...my source is a little closer to the subject than a league official giving me this info. I may be pretty far removed...but I have some pretty good sources. I give it 60-40 the actual Wolfpack will play again this season.

It was the first game I ever announced for the Bandits, thus how I vaguely remember it. I may be wrong but it seems this was the score. Regardless, I don't want to see fill-in teams at.all.

Sioux City did beat the Kansas City Matadors 112-0 last year, and that was an APFL league game held on 29 May 2011.
I checked Sioux City's 2008 scores and could not find a 112-0 score at all, unless that was a preseason game???
These are Sioux City's 2008 UIF scores:
