The Sacramento Eagles have gone over some major changes the past week and more will be announced at this week's press conference on Thursday. First and foremost the Sacramento Eagles are still here, after negotiations with Power Balance Pavilion broke down another door of opportunity opened up. The Stockton team decided to sit out this year which allowed the Sacramento Eagles to make a play for the Stockton Arena. After weeklong discussions with Stockton Arena, we have come to a mutual agreement to play all 5 home games at the Stockton Arena. The contract is signed and press conference has been scheduled for this Thursday. In addition the Sacramento Eagles has expanded and added new front office and coaching staff. The Coaching Staff will be anchored by GM/HC Dave Mairs, OC-Benny King, and yes Fred Blientikof is still part of the team. The front office will be announced at the press conference. The last thing was changing the name to California Eagles to embrace all of Northern California. Much will be forth coming this week and at the press conference and the weeks to come. Please stayed tuned and we look forward to an exciting year for the California Eagles Indoor Football and its fans. GO EAGLES!!!
