There are 7 indoor football leagues this year (ignore the fact that 4 of them play arena rules).
Rank them from 1 to 7 judging the league's on their professionalism and stability, as well as the stability of member teams, quality of member teams, and quantity of member teams.

My ranks:
1. IFL - In terms of stability of teams, quality of teams, and quantity of teams, all 16 have been top-notch and it has made for an enjoyable season. Benizio leaving for Allen during the season is definitely a black eye and shouldn't have been allowed. Allen being allowed to get around the salary cap to sign Terrell Owens shouldn't have been allowed either.
2. PIFL - In terms of stability of teams, quality of teams, and quantity of teams, all 6 have been great in the league's first season.
3. LSFL - In terms of stability of teams, quality of teams, and quantity of teams, 6 of 7 have been great in the league's first season. Houston folding due to insufficient funds is the one black mark so far, but the league did the right thing in folding the team and not bringing in replacements. I don't agree with the league removing them from the standings and also erasing the losses other teams suffered at their hands in the standings though. Reorganizing the schedule is fine, but why erase their history, it is what it is.
The bottom 4 are hard to rank as they all have major issues, but here goes:
4. APFL - In terms of stability of teams, quality of teams, and quantity of teams, 5 out of 8 have been good so far. The league isn't ran very professionally at all. 3 teams folded due to financial issues.
5. CIFL - In terms of stability of teams, quality of teams, and quantity of teams, 1 out of 6 were good. The league wasn't ran very professionally at all. 5 teams had financial issues. 1 team went from full-time member to travel-only status.
6. UIFL - In terms of stability of teams, quality of teams, and quantity of teams, 5 out of 11 have been good so far. 1 team (a travel-only team) never started and folded before the season (Huntington). 4 more teams folded during the season (2 of those being travel-only teams). 5 teams had replacements play in their place, with some resulting in triple digit blowouts. 1 team that hasn't folded is in dire financial difficulties. The league is the second worst league as far as professionalism goes, ranking only above the AIF.
7. AIF - In terms of stability of teams, quality of teams, and quantity of teams, 2 out of 12 have been good so far. 1 team folded before the season started and was replaced by a travel-only team. 4 teams folded during the season. 1 team left the league due to disagreements over the league not fulfilling their financial and travel obligations. 4 travel-only teams were left in limbo because all the other teams around them folded. 1 team became a travel-only team at the end when they couldn't pay their arena. This is basically a scam league.

1 - IFL - despite the league having one great team, a couple good teams, and a bunch of average teams on the field (which matters less than most think), the league has 16 reasonably stable teams (Omaha and New Mexico might challenge that, but their issues pale in the light of other leagues). Generally, unless you have the Storm on your schedule, it's going to be a pretty good game - that's all fans care about.
2 - PIFL - Six stable teams, and even the rather poor Knoxville Nighthawks have been a tough out. Almost every game has been tight well into the fourth quarter, and you can't ask more than that.
3 - LSFL - Just as BC said - mostly stable, and they got rid of the problem team that wasn't stable. The stats are staying on there, it appears, for Houston, and that's a good thing.
4 - APFL - They are what they are - they don't pretend to be more than that (which is good; they're not). Sioux City can't be too happy with what's there, though.
5 - CIFL - They are what they are - they don't pretend to be too much more than that, but they consistently try to be more than that with a bunch of teams no one wants. I'd say two teams on the field had some quality, but only one was all that stable. Dayton made it, so there might be something to that, but the Silverbacks would be a below-average team in any league because their offense is putrid.
6 - UIFL - The UIFL doesn't rank far behind the CIFL in terms of effectiveness, but the CIFL doesn't have any intent to screw people; they're just really not good businesspeople. The UIFL's intent can be questioned pretty easily; the three good north teams should leave, but it only makes real sense to do so if they're doing an owner-owned thing with Saginaw, or if the PIFL moves north.
7 - AIF - As I've said before, I give Morris a lot of props for his attempt to unseat Shiver's 2007 campaign; if he keeps it up he might get there.
