Another Wtf moment this season. Super...I am about this close to calling it a career... Don't know if I can muster the strength to defend the team any more.
Another unfortunate series of events that has taken the polish off of an otherwise great season. And another set of legal troubles from the guy you would least expect it.

This year has been very sad for me as a fan as my favorite two players run into legal troubles. God I hope there are no legals troubles in #1's future now.

@argusjhult: Sioux Falls Storm player Lorenzo Brown Jr. was released from jail on his own recognizance on Monday evening.
That's good news, seems to me they wouldn't release a guy on a PR bond if the charges were at all accurate. Nice to see the Argus following up even if it's via Twitter, they never did tell anyone Jones was release and nothing further has happened in that case.

jesus this years storm team is turning into the bengals on top of this and the league out to get them, makes it even more hilarious when they win this year.

Heard from someone close to the team last night that apparently what happened is some girl got ahold of Brown's cell phone and was taking pics of herself with it and instead of either deleting them or telling his boss about it he was "showing them off". I'm not sure how a girl in JDC gets ahold of a guard's phone and take pics and why he wasn't smart enough to do something about it, if it's true. Also, haven't heard anything as far as where the case is at.

sounds like something a defense team made up, which is fine it is all part of the process but i agree how does a juvenile inmate get ahold of your phone and why would you not immediately report the issue to a supervisor? if she is a minor he is still in possession of child porn. there is alot i can speculate as to what happened but his defense or justifiction seems pretty unlikely, just my opinion

Seems fishy to me as well, but I'll hold off judgement until everything is resolved.

Argus Leader and KELO news reported yesterday that more charges were filed against him and he now faces up to 60 years in prison. I don't think this was one of those "misunderstandings" that we may speculated about earlier in this story. This is really to bad since he has a small child at home but I guess if you have something to lose than you shouldnt do dumb things. to quote Jim Carrey from Liar Liar "Stop breaking the law a$$hole!"

KELO mentioned today the girl was 17... so, if there is any shred of light to this story the girl wasn't like 13

I agree, guilty is guilty, and stupid is stupid. I mention it because the age of consent in SD is 16. Not sure how it applies in this case, if at all, however.
