To play on Monday night on the road, and then bus home tuesday. Wake up SUPER early to fly out Wed (to Seattle, still almost 6 hours from the Tri Cities), and then drive in on Thursday, to have to play a VERY good TC team on Friday. Not an easy week, and the Wild did as good as you could expect. I don't think they could have had time to come up with a game plan, or to fix any mistakes from their last game. I'm sad the game had to be played under such circumstances. That IS, however, life in minor league sports. And why winning home field advantage is very important.

Agreed. Winning home field is very important if you have title aspirations.

Well said TCfever. If you win enough games you dont have to worry about traveling. A lot of belly-aching by Wichita fans that they would have won easily if they had more time. I dont see that being the case. I think the game may have been closer deeper into the game but I still wouldnt see Wichita winning this game.
