I still think Bloom will need to find new ownership before we can call them safe (i.e staying in the IFL)

I think Bloomington has a decent chance of coming back. If you look at the news paper articles unless he buys the building from the city his contract states that football has to be played there or the city will fine him something like 60-90k if I remember correctly. That should be a decent push towards them playing next year, I don't know under what ownership or league but I'd think the likelyhood is better than not.

I'm tempted to put Allen and Omaha in folded status until news comes that they will be playing next year, but I think for now I'll keep them as playing, unless everyone would prefer it the other way (let me know).

Can you create a new category called "unsure" or something of its ilk?

If there's no concrete evidence or rumblings, then it goes to rumors.

Updated the status of the first post to reflect Lehigh and Charlotte bolting.

My source very close to the situation says it is official. Lehigh Valley has bolted for the PIFL. Charlotte said that they are 100% devoted to the IFL... for this season at least.

Charlotte continuing to say that is a surprise. I honestly can't seem them sticking around without any other Eastern teams.

Charlotte staying was a surprise to me as well but it is what was said. The dissolvence of the IFL East had no effect on their decision to stay.
However now It puts them on a geographical island just like Tri-Cities. They are going to need a bunch of midwest teams to come play them and also think those same midwest teams might not be so willing to go to Tri-Cities and vice versa.

Yes, in the end the league could simply tell them to go elsewhere because other teams may not want to travel there.

Charlotte is going to end up folding with that travel, what is the closest team hour wise?
