Busted FYI I was not trying to make fun of you just simply sometimes your post are hard to follow with all the ... or caplization and what not, I have read the earlier post and did see the CPIFL release; I was simply saying maybe they move the KC team to the new center built there (not Sprint) but the other place. Anyways I will wait to hear more on the CPIFL!

I read the other day they will be playing at kemper ... I am happy they had a great owners meeting , and the CPIFL is born , but what do we really have , another league that pays the players crap , or even if they get paid !! LOL.. I think it is great that guys get to live the dream one wk to the next , but most guy's that play in these leagues are guys who could not make it at a higher level , nothing wrong with that at all , but the owners are making a killing ,,,, can we all see a players union in the near future ... I can , because it hard to understand how you cannot house , feed or even care about a players who puts fans in the stands for you don't deserve more , hey i am a fan , and love the game but players and fans deserve the best !!! We need Coaches that can RECRUIT & SCHEME and COACH , WE PLAY THE GAME TO WIN , not to put $ in pockets of so called owners .... GET players from everywhere ....and keep the game for what it is good on good ... not cheap on cheap .... its your $ being spent to watch like mine , give us more for the $ we spend ..... if I already watch the best local talent , on fridays !!! PRO FOOTBALL is a paid profession and this is not .... The Bigger cities have the advantage , and alaways will they deserve more , We deserve more and you running around in coat and tie do es not make it professional .... so hate me if you want , crack on me if you want but It's a dream for some , but its my dollars .... be fair and not cheap .... " HELLO " Most of us would like the players to get more pay, but these are minor leagues and they don't have the resources to do so. I consider the new AFL to also be a minor league, but they definitely have more resources than any of the indoor leagues. I used to think an indoor league would one day get to the levels of the AFL and surpass them, but I doubt I'll ever see that now. These leagues are what they are, a step above semi-pro. The majority of the players know they won't make any money in these leagues, but like anyone they do get upset when they are promised some pay or compensation and it doesn't come. If this CPIFL is honest up front and can carry through on their promises, then players coming in know what to expect and shouldn't be let down. That said, the league cannot control each team and if an owner decides to give up and throw in the towel mid-season, the league can only do so much to cover the team's commitments to the players, no matter what fallbacks were in place. We all want more for the players and leagues. Some leagues are just scams, semi-pro shams masquerading as pro leagues (AIF, UIFL, and APFL). I'm talking about the league heads when I say that, some teams in those leagues were honestly trying. The APFL started to gain some legitimacy when Sioux City joined, but all that is lost now. Bob Scott started the CPIFL to create a legitimate minor league that could be affordable and potentially somewhat profitable to owners, where players would receive some pay (but not a lot). This league will allow them to continue their dreams of playing and potentially moving up to higher leagues. Fred Jackson came out of Sioux City and is the starting running back for the Buffalo Bills. A success story like that will definitely not happen again, but making the CFL or camp/practice squad of an NFL team is not out of bounds, and a lucky few actually get to make an NFL team, and even fewer get playing time. Anyway, we all want better, but this is what the minor leagues are. We can choose to support the leagues who actually try though, like this CPIFL, and give no dollars at all to leagues who are total scams (AIF, UIFL, and APFL). Just my humble opinion.

So that makes 5. Hmmm who could be #6? Given that the meetings were in Council Bluffs and the Express are among the four accounts followed by the CPIFL Twitter account, I'd be a little surprised if they aren't "team #6". I'm more curious about #7 or #8. The league's Facebook page hints at multiple teams being announced next week. Also, judging from Zeb Sutton's comments on the CPIFL page, I would guess that Indianapolis isn't in the league's footprint.

I could see the Cedar Rapids Titans (IFL) joining the CPIFL.

Cedar Rapids, Omaha, and Nebraska (Grand Island), are all well within the current CPFIL footprint

I hope the CPIFL did their homework on the Dawgs. The Dawgs were looking for start up capital early this year and late last year.

It's Potential Expansion, so where they end up is anyone's guess.
