Let's see. Sioux Falls @ Bloomington eXtreme. a veritable rematch of last seasons United Bowl. Bloomington, as everyone knows is loading up with talent including former AFL and NFL cats.Right? Sioux Falls, had better not underestimate this opponent. Sioux Falls, the most dominating Indoor football team of recent years has had a real knack for winning games. I anticipate their usual balanced O and especially their usual bonecrushing D. It's the day after I finish school, and I'm going come heck or highwater. Predictions: (old Inside The NFL style) Len Dawson: With their great QB leading the way, I'm making the Sioux Falls Storm my pick this week. Chris Collinsworth: um I don't know ...I'm going with former Bengal WR Peter Warrick, and the Bloomington eXtreme. Nick Buoniconti: I'm taking the Miami Dolphins in a landslide.

Bloomington has my prepseason pick for defensive MVP. Mr. John Moring is a friggin studd. and he can put down his fair share of brewskis as well. I got bloomington by 4, 31 to 27 and depending on how many polish sausages super picker has one heart attack from a last second touchdown to give bloomington Da! lead.!

Sioux Falls stumbled out the gate the year of their first title and last year they didn't start fast either. They do finish strong nearly every year of their history though, that much is certain. Both teams will have a lot of turnover so it might just come down to who jells as a team faster. I see a high scoring affair, lets say Bloomington 47, Sioux Falls 38.

Sioux Falls doesn't underestimate anyone. It's just that the UIF finally started catching up last year.
I give them the win here 40-38, and such a result puts Bloomington squarely into the picture of being a favorite in the UIF's Whatever Conference It's Called.

In that case I should send two hookers w/ two 30 packs to occupy Mr. Moring the night before the game. I haven't had a Maxwell Street Polish Sausage yet this year, maybe cruising back in from da game... ... unless Lem's is still open and I get some southside BBQ. Lem's B.B.Q. (drool)mmmmmmmmmm...mmmmmmmmmm

I'm going to watch this game via B2 tonight just to see how each team has changed for this year, and I expect to see a lot of changes.
I'd like to see Bloomington win since I'm tired of seeing Sioux Falls winning (I think even some Storm fans are becoming bored by it), but if Bloomington loses that's good too since they're in Omaha's division.
Here's hoping for a good game.

Bloomington kickoff hits turf and goes out of end zone, so Sioux Falls gets ball at their 5. 1 yard run. Brent Little reception to Bloomington 4 yard line...wow. 1 yard run, ball at 2 1/2 yard line, 2nd down. Bad snap, qb sacked by Eugene Phillips (second of night), 3rd and goal now at 8 yd line. Offensive holding pushed SF's back to 18. Interception in end zone by James Temple, returned to 17.
