I'll take Virginia to beat Vegas in the season opener for the UFL tonight.
On Friday I'll take Sacramento over Omaha.
------------------------------------------------------------
Oops. I thought Marty was still in charge of Virginia and not his relative. If I had known that I would've went with Vegas.
0-1 to start in picks.

Sacramento must have changed stadiums since I last saw them on TV two years ago (they played at Sacramento State's stadium). They moved into a baseball park that had constantly malfunctioning clocks and had one corner of one end zone that was too close to the outfield fence. When Northwestern played Illinois in Wrigley Field the NCAA complained that one of the end lines was too close to the fence and the teams had to switch sides all the time. Great comeback by Omaha.

I had written Omaha off, but they suddenly came alive in the 4th to steal it.

I do wonder if the game will be played tomorrow with the lack of players being paid.
What is this? Indoor football?

Ha. It's not indoor football, but it is an upstart football league that didn't properly plan.
One of their major mistakes this year I think is that they are paying to be broadcast on CBS Sports, but are not advertising that fact at all so not many know about it. They are not marketing their teams locally very well either.

na, CBS paid them to broadcast, but all the money was up front and the league has no commissioner or front office to speak off. Just really disorganized.

1620 the zone, yeah they know the deal. Updated the first post of this thread with Las Vegas' 20-9 victory over Sac yesterday.

Mike'l Severe probably knows more about that league than anyone.
Anyway, the game just kicked off. It's on CBS Sports right now, paid for or not.

Severe doesn't know anything, he's just a big blowhard. When he was announcing indoor football games he was always getting things wrong (plus he hated the game, so he didn't even try to get things right).
