Former Tri Cities Fever DC Ryan Lingenfelder! Congrats coach. He'll be missed in TC though

I think he wanted to go out when Strand did

With Strand gone, and coach L now in charge of the Cavs, if the AFL doesn't welcome Houston Lillard, I could see him ending up in Wyoming....

Shack won't take him back if the AFL and his replacement don't work out?

Shack is 100% committed to Kasey Peters.

I hate to say this.. but perhaps Houston is *ahem* too expensive for Tri-Cities to keep... They're going to bleed money on travel this year...

The split between the Fever and Houston is simple.
He plans on trying out for the AFL. He won't sign until he knows what's going to happen there. The Fever don't want to "wait and see". Peters won't re-sign under the understanding that they are waiting to see what happens with Lillard. So they cut him to show they were moving on from him. Now they are going to build around Peters.
Now, if Peters bombs, and Lillard is unsigned into the start of the season, yeah I guess that could happen. But I doubt it.
Peters will do just fine. I wish the best for Coach L in Wyoming, and Lillard where ever he ends up.
