This league is FULL. Size was reduced to 14 teams, anyone still wanting to play will be added to the alternates list if someone drops out.
Draft scheduled for this Sunday at 8pm Eastern/7pm Central. Draft order will be set 30 minutes prior to the draft (wish they didn't prolong it like that, I'd like to know in advance for strategy purposes, but whatev).
Good luck to everyone!

I forgot to mention that all league participants will also be part of the NFL Fantasy Triple Elimination Bracket War!I meant to use this before to also entice more players, but wouldn't you know that I forgot (getting old sucks). The idea behind T.E.B.W. is to use the existing fantasy league teams, scoring, etc. The Bracket War starts in Week 5. Week's 1-4 will determine seeding in the Bracket War, solely based off a team's total fantasy points thru the first 4 weeks of the season. Seeds 1 & 2 will get byes and start play in Week 6. The attached bracket graphic explains the rest fairly easy I think. Basically you play until you lose three times and then you're out. If there's any questions, let me know. This will be considered as a separate contest and I'll create a new thread later (don't want another thread right now, to avoid confusion). The nice thing about this bracket war is if your fantasy team starts out terrible at 0-4 you don't have to totally freak out since when you start the bracket war you have a new lease on life. This should keep people's interest throughout the NFL Fantasy Football contest longer I think. See attachment for the Bracket Example. Once seeding's are determined after week 4 is finished, I'll create the actual bracket with team placements. Attachments:

so this will run concurrent to the league itself? Yes. The first four weeks are for tourny seeding, which will be ordered by most overall fantasy points in the first four weeks.

PouchStains was the only one who did the auto draft, lol. Yahoo's predictions are always way off anyway. We all know the Red Zone Ninja will be at the bottom. Nice thing about a 14 team league is everyone plays each other once, and then the playoffs start ... perfect!

I'm writing to yahoo to complain about being 14th in draft position btw. You're telling me the commish doesn't get special privileges, wth???

I see the Lincoln Capitols get an automatic loss in week 2, such a shame.

Hey BC, I like the concept! How are the power rankings figured?

Micah got the power rankings from yahoo. I have no idea how they're configured, probably yahoo insiders make up the rules.
The Triple Elimination Bracket War will just take each team's total points from week's 1-4 to determine seeding for the bracket (not power rankings).
I hope both contests are fun for everyone. I'll probably get shellacked since I stopped following the NFL closely last year. I'll still try though and who knows, Vick and I may kick all your @$$E$!

The Power Rankings are something that Yahoo calculated. I just copied and pasted it over. I don't remember seeing it before in previous years so it may be something new they are doing. My guess is that it is just the projected points of all your players for the entire season (including bench players), but I don't know that for sure. You can find it by going to League -> Projections -> Power Rankings. football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/344903/leagueprojections?type=rankings

I think you're right on the projected points. When looking for FA's you can project points out there as well (too bad those projections don't always come true though, eh?).
