With the season about halfway completed where does everyone see the teams finishing up/ what teams make the playoffs? It would appear that pending some sort of miracle SC Bandits will yet again run the table and take the #1 seed. Who fills out the rest? 1. SC 2.? 3.? 4.? 5.? 6.? 7. Springfield 8. Colorado

This puts alot of stock in the next Mid-MO/ Kansas game as it could decide the #4 seed.

I'm going with 1. Bandits, 2. Defenders, 3. Express, 4. Outlaws Just saying I don't have a lot of faith in anything that comes out of Topeka right now.

With just 2 weeks left are the top 4 seeds locked up? What are the scenarios, do any of the upcoming games mean anything? Who's in.... Who's out....

Sioux City has clinched the #1 Seed.
Oklahoma and Council Bluffs have clinched a playoff spot. Council Bluffs needs to beat Oklahoma by 16 points this weekend to pass them and capture the #2 seed, otherwise Oklahoma will get it and they'll get the #3 seed.
Kansas has tiebreaker advantage over Mid-Missouri in the battle for the last playoff spot. Basically, Mid-Missouri needs to beat Oklahoma in 2 weeks or they're out of the playoffs (which is why Middleton is rushing back into the starting lineup despite breaking his collarbone 4 weeks ago).

Isn't there a league rule about having to play at least nine league games and because of the forfeits, does Kansas qualify for playoffs anyway since they haven't actually PLAYED nine games? I don't know if what I heard is accurate or what the rules definitely are, because the league has never let me see the rule book. (Imagine that!)

Does the rule book even matter if the league owner also owns the team that is in question?

Forfeits are considered wins in every league I've been around. Unless there is a rule that says forfeits don't count, then that would be the only thing that would apply in that case. In a perfect world, we wouldn't have forfeits, but they are set in place so that the opponent of the team that can't get it's $h!+ together isn't penalized by not having played a game in the standings.

I understand the reasoning, but still think it's a boiling crock of **** one team gets an unfair advantage by not having to play even close to the same number of games as the team that doesn't make it because they played all season. I did a REAL quick calculation based on the games played this season and if you take out the forfeits, the stats would look something like this (for the currently active teams): Bandits 10-0 Express 7-3 Defenders 6-3 Outlaws 5-4 Koyotes 3-5 Now I may be inaccurate (we still have the Outlaws playing Defenders next week to count, too) and please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. But it's messed up... (smh)

I really think OK should lose to MID-MO and that would oust the Koyotes!

Ralph Adams is to blame since he's the one that let Cheyenne and Colorado into the league. He was greedy and took the money for franchise fees despite knowing they were underfunded and poorly planned.
I have Outlaws at 4-4 without forfeits or replacement teams. The rest are correct.
I know Oklahoma wants a conference call with the league and teams to discuss this very subject. Look at Ralph Adams' history though, all he cares about are his Koyotes. Look at the standings you posted above, who's the odd man out (hint: Koyotes). Does anyone really think he'll go along with not counting forfeits and have his Koyotes out of the playoffs?
If Oklahoma somehow loses to the Outlaws next week though, Kansas is out of the playoffs.

to me it'd be unfair NOT to count the forfeits as Ws.
And if you do NOT count them then the on the field games involving those teams shouldn't count either. It'd be as if they never existed.
