Council Bluffs at Kansas is the APFL Game of the Week. It should be a close one, with the #3 seed likely hinging on the outcome.
This week in picks I got:

I'll take CB and MO.
I'll try to take some pictures if I go to the MO-OK game. Most of them don't turn out well at Matthewson Center though. I'll figure it out one day.

APFL: Outlaws commit nine turnovers en route to 75-10 loss to Oklahoma
Sedalia Democrat
On a night when nothing seemed to go the Mid-Missouri Outlaws way, one play managed to sum up their struggles.
Facing a a third-and-goal from the 1-yard line with 12 seconds to play and his team down 27-3 to the Oklahoma Defenders, Jeremy Spears opted for a quarterback keeper and was stuffed up the middle. But on his second effort, the ball was knocked loose and scooped up at the 5-yard line by linebacker Ronnie Neal, who rumbled 45 yards to the end zone untouched to lift the Defenders to a 35-3 halftime lead. That was just one of nine turnovers committed by the Outlaws, who were routed 75-10 Saturday night at the Mathewson Exhibition Center.
It was the second worst loss in the program’s history for the Outlaws (7-4), who were hoping to swap places in the American Professional Football League Standings with the second-seeded Defenders (8-2).
Now, with just a game at Oklahoma on the league slate, they’ll be fighting for their playoff lives. In the playoff picture, the Outlaws are a half game ahead of the 6-4 Koyotes, who lost 30-27 to Council Bluffs at home Saturday night. The Koyotes, who hold the playoff tiebreaker against the Outlaws based on point differential in their season split, face an uphill climb next week against the 11-0 Sioux City Bandits before hosting the 1-9 Springfield WolfPack to end the season.
The Outlaws can blame the loss on many pitfalls, including a complete lack of ball security and an inability to stop the Defenders’ offense on third and fourth down and in the red zone.
Starting with the struggles on offense, the Outlaws coughed up the ball nine times, were one for 10 on third downs and converted just two of their six trips to the red zone.
Along with the goal-line fumble, Jeremy Spears, who had thrown for seven touchdowns compared to just one interception in his first two starts under center, threw three interceptions. His 5-yard run late in the third quarter represented the lone score against a defense that just didn’t allow any running gaps up front or room to roam in the secondary.
Meanwhile, the Outlaws’ defense had no answer for Rico Watkins and his crew. The Defenders quarterback was 12 for 17 for 201 yards and threw for six scores spread among five receivers. And he and his teammates shined in the clutch, as the Defenders converted on four of seven third downs and were a perfect 3 for 3 on fourth. Six of their nine offensive scores also came on those two downs.
The night started off well enough for the Outlaws, who got a turnover on the initial kickoff after a Marc Tiernan forced fumble found the hands of Jajwan Shields. Derek Doerfler later converted a 21-yard field goal, but that would be the Outlaws only lead.
Watkins answered with a 30-yard touchdown pass to Curtis Tucker and the Defenders never looked back. After a 6-yard touchdown run, Watkins threw for touchdown throws of 17 and 27 yards before Neal broke loose for the deflating defensive score to lift the Defenders to a 35-3 halftime lead.
And it only got uglier.
Out of the locker rooms, the Outlaws fumbled to set the tone for a half where they committed five turnovers.
Watkins then proceeded to throw for scores of 7, 6 and 45 yards in the half, the backfield found the end zone for the second time, the Defenders returned a kickoff for a score and Bobby Blackshire capped off the defense’s banner night with a pick-6 to close out the lopsided win.

The difference in the game was when CB started having Kaylon Price play both ways. He stuffed Kansas run game and they couldn't pass the ball.
