well with the APFL2 in town it shouldn't be that hard to crank up the fire on a another semi pro dancing chicken and call them the lighting WTF is up with DeKalb? I hope they have some other teams in the area hiding up their sleave and split the league in to converances.. .I don't see making a 14-15 hour drive a good thing(CO/WY to IL). that means 2 drivers per bus or an over nite stay each way on the road (CDL hours of service), and I can't imagine flying on a APFL budget.. Topeka just need to join the "new" league in the best instrested of being competive and giving the home crowd a good show(ie not a blow out) focus the APFL on a small reagon(s) within a few hours drive of each other (instead of trying to make Kansas the center of it all)... you cant expect barely pro/semi pro to afford pro type travel distanstances I definitely agree. The travel is too far and each time they've expanded that far away from Topeka it has never worked.

good news...the Koyotes should return to championship form... :-) Yep. Makes me laugh when people say a title is a title, but whatever makes them feel good I guess.

North Texas Crunch have joined the APFL as an expansion team for 2013.
It seems the APFL also intends to resurrect the Springfield Wolfpack.

I am sure.. but we have to have some fun with what we are give..lol in that vane.. the web site lists 12 spots (6 questionable, 5 tbd) the press release on the crunch says "The North Texas Crunch will play a 12 game APFL schedule"
. does that mean they are trying for a 2 conference set up? to limit travle? but then again looking @ it Kansas is in the middle... with hell drives form the other points of the compass....
better than when they had a FL team a suppose
