They are still my pick to win the PIFL in 2013.

The Richmond Raiders re-signed quarterback Antwon Young on Wednesday, bringing back a key part of an offense that made it to the Professional Indoor Football League championship game last season.
Young was selected as the PIFL’s most valuable player after a 2012 season during which he completed 53 percent of his throws, accumulating 2,866 yards with 60 touchdowns. He rushed for 452 yards and 19 touchdowns. The Raiders made it to the championship game, where they were defeated 60-56 by the Albany Panthers.
Young joined the Raiders at the midpoint of the 2011 season. He became the team’s starting quarterback for its last three games.
“Having Young back is a huge boost for our organization as he was such a big part of our offensive productivity in 2012. He does things that you cannot teach. He makes it hard for defenses to prepare because he can do both run and pass so well,” said Raider’s head coach James Fuller, who is entering his third full season as the Raider’s coach.
Said Young, who played as a collegian at Villanova: “It feels great to be back with this organization, especially with all they’ve done for me. It feels great to be back for the fans, for my teammates, for my family and for myself. For me, it’s like home.”
Young said the Richmond fan base is like no other he’s played in front of. He said he is excited and ready to make another run at a title.
“Our motto this year is going to be unfinished business. We accomplished some things last season, but when it comes down to it, it’s about winning a championship. I definitely feel like we can get there again this year,” Young said. “I just can’t wait to get back.”
