What's with mid mo? All other teams have announced signings, updates to websites, coaching staff and ownership. the outlaws camp is quite . Will they be ready for the season, try outs, anything? Thoughts, rumors, news?

Thoughts: They'll sign local talent right before the season. They don't have the funds to bring in out of town big name (for this level anyway) signings.

Mid-Mo has their corp group of guys and I'd guess they're hurting for talent with KC springing up near them.
KC will cut guys before the season and I'd venture to say at least a few will end up in Sedalia...same goes for the Koyotes.

As a fan excited about the cpifl and the way things are shaping up it just seems as if the outlaws are behind in season prep. Makes me wonder if they will be ready to compete? Will they be a dark spot on on an otherwise positive inaugural cpifl season? Having followed the APFL last season I wonder what if any organizations will assume the role of Springfield, Colorado, or Cheyenne. First teams that come to mind would be midmo or ks. But the outlaws seem even further behind than Kansas.

unfortunately with indoor football you will always see the 'haves' and 'have nots'.
I think you're right in saying the Outlaws and Koyotes will probably be the 'have nots' of the CPIFL. And they probably won't be the only ones.

Mid Mo main issue is they dont have experienced coaches or front office that have professional experience or exposure to how arena/indoor teams are run on and off the field. At some point drawing it up in the sand will catch up to you. Although Mid Mo has some decent players in place. The management and coaches are as I have always said semi pro. Things will catchup to them this year on the field. Plus ownership has had plenty negatives the last two season in the APFL.

I agree that their play on the field will likely catch up to them this year and that they probably won't return to the league in 2014. I think a few other teams are also potentially one year and done teams in this league as well.

Agreed on the lack of front office skills it is evident by the way the team is being marketed compared to others. Who are the other teams in danger of failing? Ks? Salina?

Who are the other teams in danger of failing? Ks? Salina? In my opinion KC, Salina, Lincoln, and Kansas are in the most danger. Any team can fail though, as has been proven each and every season.

Salina is doing what it can locally it appears, the big question is how well will they do drawing from a 5 gallon bucket when other teams have a 55 Gallon Barrel...
