I was at the Salina game and it was a sellout. The interesting thing was that the Salina fans did not seem to know how to react; they behaved more as mere spectators (which maybe expected since this was the first game for the city). For instance when the Wild was on offense there was virtually no fan noise- you could have heard a pin drop- it was a bit strange. But being a Wild fan, I was glad to see they were keeping quite. I assume this will change as the year progresses and the fans embrace the team.

I hope they can keep the momentum going in Salina. Having a sellout at their first ever home game is great, but they still have five more home games to sell tickets to in their inaugural season.

The cities of Wichita and Salina are not very far apart. I think the formation of this league has put more Teams within easy driving distance of each other. I'm wondering if the Hartman Arena will sell out when Salina comes to Wichita.

do you think the 75 miles radius for players rule hurts the league?

Wouldn't it be better to get players from anywhere they wanted?

It works for teams in the ifl that can afford it.

They recruit from a 75 mile radius so they don't have to pay to house and feed the player. The bottom line is the bottom line.
